There's this girl at the coffee shop in the mall, and I really like her. But I've never actually talked to her and only view her Facebook page about twice a day. And I'm still sort of with my girlfriend from seven years ago. How am I supposed to let her go after all of that? Did I mention that I got my married, 30-year old, already mother of one coworker pregnant? What should I do guys?

Just kidding.  How is everyone?

We all knew with Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, Two-Face was bound to show up at some point:

The scenes of the two takes of Two-Face sound amazing.  The only thing I am worried about is if Joker and Two-Face are going to have to fight over screen time.  I would much rather have Two-Face just set up in TDK and get his own film later on.  Batman Begins seemed rather Scarecrow heavy and barely touched on Rhas Al-Ghul, and that was ok because Rhas Al-Ghul is nowhere near as iconic as either of these.  I hope Christopher Nolan can do them justice.

EDIT: Apparently some really blurry images of the TDK Two-Face figure have surfaced:

So in a couple of days I am going to be looking at an apartment.  This whole thing is new to me; I've never had my own place before.  Currently I live in the house I have always lived in with my brother.  It's my mom's house, but she now lives in Ohio.

Anyway, it's starting to get a little old, so we wanted to find some place new.  I found this nice first floor apartment about 4 or 5 blacks from where I currently live, completely remodeled.  $595/month plus gas and electric.

Other than that I know nothing.  I've never had a landlord, never signed a lease... nothing.  What should a look for?  Anything I should worry about?  Does this place seem like a good deal?

Help me out GW!

You guys spoke, and Half-Life 2: The Orange Box was voted as GW's 2007 Game of the Year.  Now, to really narrow it down, you have 3 days to vote for what you thought was the best inclusion in the box. The winner will receive cake.

I personally have to go with Portal.  For me it was worth spending the $50 to play Portal for the 3 hours it took to beat it.

I have compiled your nominations from Part I and compiled the list above.  You now have three days to vote for your Game of the Year!

And before I forget:

Vote or Die!

EDIT: Also, I compiled all the votes for HL2, Portal, TF2, etc into the "Orange Box" category to make things easier.

Alrighty, GW!  Here is you chance to pick what you think was the best game of the year!

Part I - January 1st - January 4th: Everyone should post their top 5 games of 2007. Any system is acceptable, just as long as it was released sometime between January 1st, 2007 and now. Preferably multi-region games as well, so no Japan or Europe only games. No need to put them in any particular order either, just list what you though was good this year.

Part II - January 5th - January 7th: At this point I'll take the top 10 games mentioned in this topic and create a poll with them.  You'll then get your chance to vote what you think should be Game of the Year.

And to add a little spice, everyone should also nominate two additional games.  "Worst Game of the Year" and "Biggest Let Down of the Year".  Worst game could just be the game you hated so damn much, or maybe it really had a lot going against it.  And the biggest let down is a game you felt didn't live up to your expectations.

Enough talk, have at it!

1. Assassin's Creed
2. Bioshock
3. Super Mario Galaxy
4. Half-Life 2: Orange Box (specifically Portal, though TF2 is awesome)
5. Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword

Worst Game: Two Worlds (not a lot I could think of this year, and the little time I did spend with Two Worlds was absolutely dreadful)

Biggest Let Down: Mass Effect (Don't get me wrong, the game is excellent, but from what I had read and seen the game was supposed to be phenomenal.  It just felt very unpolished to me)

i'm looking to upgrade my harddrive to something in the 300GB area, but I don't want to half to manually transer all of my files over via CD/DVDs and the like.  I've heard I could just "migrate" all the files I have on my current hard drive to a new one.  What would that require, how well does it work, and can I do this with Windows also (save me from having to get a copy of XP)?
