I'm trying to recall this old movie I watched back as a kid. It was in a high school where these kids were turned "perfect" after being put into some school program which the principal controlled.

The story started with a new kid arriving at the high school and he is befriended with a kind of punk/goth guy they turn out to be really good friends then the goth/punk kid starts to tell the new kid a conspiracy happening in the school, starts to mention a program that made his goth/punk friends into preps and they ended up getting good grades, they dressed better(preppy) and basically didn't hang out with the goth/punk kid anymore.

Stuff I remember:
- At the time I remember it came on Channel 5 in the UK.
- I remember a scene where the janitor has put some kind of radio that emits this high pitched screech.

- The goth/punk and the new kid is walking on the beach and I remember that the goth/punk kid was saying how he was not gonna let his parents put him into the school program and then he took out a handgun and said how he threatened to kill them if he was forced, in which the new kid tries to persuade him and disarms him and the goth/punk kid is pissed says "FUCK" and both go home.

Nevermind I found it, it's called "Disturbing Behaviour"

I have brought a new computer and it came with the ATI Radeon HD 3450 Graphics Card, problem is I had trouble getting the computer to display on my TFT monitor but I found out it was the graphics card. Now that it has been taken out, I finally have the display on my TFT monitor. I'm just wondering if my GPU is faulty or is there another problem?

Theres a game called Alien Swarm the game is kind of Action-RPG-ish and the view is from a isometric birds eye view kind of angle. It has 4 player co-op I think it would be great if we all got this and played together, it's really fun. Theres these like perks and weapons and you can choose your class. Anyway it's free and has 4 player co-op might as well get it!!  :welp:

The screenshots don't look like much but it is an extremely fun game!! I recommend you guys get this and we arrange a time where we can play together! It's time GW got together more often and played games.

Steam are giving away a FREE GAME, they are giving away Portal, but only until the 24th May so grab it while you can.

GET IT FREE NOW!
http://store.steampowered.com/app/400/

About the Game

Portal™ is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay.

The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life® 2's Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.

Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.

I'm trying to find an old Sci-Fi movie I watched when I was a kid, I remember the storyline quite well. It started off with a boy and his family, the boy's mother tells the boy to get his brother who is hiding in the forest. He gets scared by his brother and somehow falls down and gets K.O. I forget what happens but I remember he goes inside some alien spaceship, and on that spaceship there are lots of alien specimens he talks to the alien being in the space ship.

I forgot what happens after that but he finds himself in the future and he finds out his family does not live in the old house anymore and have moved, he later finds them and his little brother who is actually older than him and bigger than him, everyone is amazed by this including the media and they run tests on him, he is able to escape by hiding in some kind of robotic food serving machine and the help from some woman. I also remember how his little brother sets off fireworks to signal him or something.

I really don't know the year or anything else much about the movie.

I'm looking for a third person shooter, all I remember was the main character you controlled had the ability to use fire and burn things and stuff and he used guns in this third person shooter game. I remember the name being pyro-something. I can't find any information on google. The first time I saw this game was on YouTube but that was so long ago.

Ok, so I started university two weeks ago and I'm finding it all a bit overwhelming, I'm studying a Masters degree in Computer Science. The lectures are so boring and I can't help but lose focus after fourty-five minutes or so. I would like to know how you all are studying or have studied for your degrees.

I'm doing these modules this term!
- Programming Practice
- Elementary Logic with Applications
- Computer Systems
- Foundations of Computing.

I got my exams in january which is in three months and I'm really worried about and and don't know what to do at all. The lecturers just put up slideshows and just read them out! I got one lecturer with a strong russian accent and he also does not speak clearly.

I have ordered a book and awaiting for it to arrive but till then the only material I have is the slideshows that the lectureres use!

EDIT: I forgot to state I am an undergraduate.

Ok, dudes I've been looking to buy a Sega Dreamcast for a long time just to play the Shenmue series. I was wondering if it's worth it just for that or are there any other hidden gems I don't know about which are worth buying a Sega Dreamcast for? Second hand Sega Dreamcasts on ebay are about £30, Mint condition ones are about £50 and upwards.

Ok, I'm kind of worried now because I'm not sure what to study in university, I am interested in electronics I like gadgets and technology, but I also have a liking to games and making games. I'm kinda confused  :fogetshrug: I chose Computer Science as a course I want to study in univeristy anyway because it is a broad subject but now I'm worried because I don't know if I can cope with it or not, since it involves advanced maths and I failed my A-level maths in college so I dropped it.

I've read a few articles on games design jobs and they don't sound too good, apaprently it's because so many young people like me want to do it that they just pay us low wages and we are worked long hours with less holidays, the other bad thing is we wouldn't be doing any significant probably just coding a small thing in the game. I don't wanna end up like one of those people when I could go to univeristy to study a course to get a better job that I would enjoy therefore I have thought about electronics but the universities require that you have A-level Physics and I do not have that qualification, so I've been really worried and panicing about this lately and I don't know what to do.

I know there are quite a few people in here who are older, mature and I was hoping you guys could maybe help me out... give me some advice.

What do you think about tea bagging in online games, is there anything wrong with it? Do you find it annoying? Do you tea bag people for fun? I have heard so many complaints but to be honest I only tea bag for fun and laughs, I mean it's funny sometimes you will someone and tea bag them then they get you back and everyone you tea bagged, tea bags you too.

I use it as a taunt to try to get people to get me I find it amusing especially in MGO.

For those who do not know what tea bagging is:

So currently I am learning to drive mainly because I wanna see my grandma and cousins again you know, since I have not seen them since my parents sold the car because my dad could not drive anymore since he got really ill and I wasn't even old enough to drive and my mom didn't want to either. So the purpose of this topic is to ask for tips on driving, what was the first thing you realized that you did wrong? When did you pass your driving test and how old were you? Did you pass out of sheer luck or was it because you can actually drive? So stuff like that would do nicely, so go ahead discuss...  :fogetbackflip:

Urban Terror
Urban Terror™ is a free multiplayer first person shooter, that (thanks to ioquake3) does not require Quake III Arena. It is available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. The current version is 4.1.

Urban Terror can be described as a Hollywood tactical shooter; somewhat realism based, but the motto is "fun over realism". This results in a very unique, enjoyable and addictive game.

No registration required: Download, install, play!

What sort of system specs do I need to play?
Depends on what you base system specs are. we used to say, if you can run Quake III Arena then you should be able to play Urban Terror. Since Quake III Arena is now an older game many of today's game machines should be able to run Urban Terror. If you are unsure, download the game and give it a shot. FrozenSand recommends the following as minimum specs:

CPU: Pentium 4 1.2GHz or higher.
RAM: 256MBs (512MBs highly recommended).
VID: NVidia or ATI card with 128MB RAM (256MB or more highly recommended).
HDD: 50GB, but the more the better for additional levels.

Game Modes

Urban Terror comes complete with seven game modes. The game modes are as follows: Free For All (FFA), Team Deathmatch (TDM), Team Survivor (TS), Follow The Leader (FTL), Capture & Hold (C&H), Capture The Flag (CTF) and Bomb & Defuse (Bomb).

Bomb & Defuse (Bomb)
The Red Team is the offensive team, who attempts to plant the bomb in one of two strategic locations denoted by the pulsating icon. The Blue Team defends the plant locations, either trying to kill the entire team or to defuse the bomb once it has been planted.

The offensive team has the full round time limit to plant the bomb. Once the bomb has been planted, the round time will stop, which results the bomb timer starting its countdown to detonation, either exploding or be defused by the defending team.

Points are awarded to both teams for their actions during a round. Scoring is as follows:

2 points for the Red Team on a successful plant.
2 points for the Blue Team for stopping a planting by killing the Red Team.
1 point for the Red Team for killing the Blue Team, but not planting.
1 point for the Blue Team for defusing the bomb.
0 points for a draw.

Capture & Hold (C&H)
Numerous flags or "capture" points are positioned around the level. When you occupy those points the flag changes to your team's color (red or blue). Every minute your team scores a point for each flag of your team's color. Your goal is to "hold" as many flags a possible at each scoring interval. If you get killed, you can respawn after a brief delay.

Capture the Flag (CTF)
Each team has a home base which holds a flag. The team's goal is to get the flag from the enemy base and bring it back to their base. You must prevent the enemy from doing the same. If you are killed you must wait to respawn back into the game. Points are awarded as follows:

15 points for a flag capture (individual) *Bonus*
10 points for a Team capture (team) *Bonus*
2 points for defending your flag
1 point for returning the flag
1 point for killing enemy flag carrier
1 point for providing the flag carrier protection *Bonus*
1 point for preventing a capture
Free for All (FFA)
It is each gamer for themselves, in this fast paced game mode. After a preset number of minutes or frag count the round will end and the winner is the person with the greatest number of kills. If you are killed you will respawn at a random location on the map after a short delay.

Follow the Leader (FTL)
At the beginning of each round the server selects one person on your team as the "Leader." The leader is designated by a red or blue helmet. A flag also spawns with your team. Your goal is to score as many points as you can. Points are awarded as follows:

5 points if your leader touches the enemy flag.
3 points if you kill the other team and your leader still alive.
1 point if you kill the other team, but your leader is dead.
Only the leader can get points from touching the enemy flag. The round ends when a leader on either team touches an enemy flag, or either team is killed. If you are killed you cannot respawn until the end of a round.

Team Deathmatch (TDM)
Your goal is to accrue kills for your team. After a preset number of minutes or total frags the round will end and the winning team is the one with the greatest number of kills. If you are killed you will respawn at a random map location after a short delay.

Team Survivor (TS)
Your goal is to annihilate the opposing team. The round ends when all the members of one team are killed, the team left standing is awarded a point. If you are killed you cannot respawn until the next round. Depending on the server settings sudden death could apply.

I'm on experienced difficulty btw, also what traits should I pick and what should my stats be for making a sharpshooter when you use the IMP?

So recently I got an Xbox 360 and I played it on my small tv in my room which was alright because I could see everything but now that I have a bigger tv which is approx 28 inches I get dizzy from playing for just 15mins this never happens when I play the Playstation 2 on the big tv and no matter what game I play on my Xbox 360 I still get dizzy and start to feel nauseous within 15 minutes of playing, has this ever happened to anyone else that owns a Xbox 360 or is it just me, because this has never happened to me before.
