im not sure how popular racing games are here, but they are doing some pretty horrible things to this game. they are removing cockpit view, difficulty sliders, and destruction derby. cockpit view was one of the reasons i loved the first grid so much, along with destruction derby. their reasoning was that only 5% ever used the in-car view but i call bullshit on that statistic. why they decided to remove difficulty sliders is completely beyond me. it is impossible to make a racing game with no difficulty sliders that wont either be too easy for some or frustratingly hard for others. they also talked about dumbing down the car tuning system. that is a lot of shit to sacrifice for some better graphics imo. pretty disappointing considering this game is 4 years in the making. do any of you think there will be a chance for this game to redeem itself? i personally think they are alienating their base to make a more casual game with shinier graphics. if i wanted to play nfs i would buy nfs.
