Hi,

I just wanted to tell you girls and guys that we've launched a Kickstarter for our cross-platform 2D platformer, Buck & Miles.

We've spent a lot of time studying the design constructs of classic games and used that information to make a new platformer.

Here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/taqutor/buck-and-miles-a-cross-platform-2d-platformer

A lot of old GWers were involved in the making of this, including Medieve, Nessiah, Konix, Chef, Dudesoft and mkkmypet.

We'd also love to see you on http://astrojone.com where we've got a forum and chat.

xoxo

Hi,

Me, Jamie and Dicko have been getting together quite frequenty for some Left 4 Dead-gaming. We had a lot of fun goofing around, so we created a group on Steam in case anyone else wants to join in.

Basically we band together for coop sessions where we do our best to uphold glorious gaming honor:

What you can expect:
 - Lots of good goofs and spoofs.
 - Left 4 Dead, Age of Empires, Half-Life, Serious Sam, Heroes of Might and Magic, System Shock 2 and whatever else you can think of.
 - We stay clear of racist/sexist/*phobic sessions and douchey players.
 - Jamie being the most selfish and awful co-op partner you'll ever meet.
 - Jamie accusing the opposite team of hacking his ping.
 - Some classic GW nostalgia.

Screenshots:

Every sesh starts with a little gaming prayer.

Note that gun_haver is Jamie. He basically went afk without a word at the start of our round, and we had to protect his character for about 15 minutes. He then returned with a "good work team" and ran towards the goal while leaving the rest of us to deal with the zombie onslaught. He got the high score and the rest of us died. This happens a lot. Like, you can expect Jamie to leave mid-session because he feels like eating a sausage or grabbing some nuggets from the Mickey D's across the street.

How to join?
If anyone wants to join us, our group can be found on both Steam and Evolve (the latter is a great service that offers virtual LAN, voice communication and automatic overlay screens in any game) where you'll be able to join us in group chat.

And remember:

"Game hard, game safely and most importantly: game on."
