Hey there guys, these new forum settings sure are neat.
 
This is a topic for sharing your tattoos and for also sharing pics of cool tattoos and also for if you want to help me design my first tattoo.
 
I'd like something to do with Aztec/Mayan stuff or a Hamsa design I think. But I can't find anything cool online really. 
 
Would you like to help me design one? I'd like one in the Hamsa shape, possibly with the hebrew letters for Chai in there somewhere. Greetings.

I don't really play video games that often as I'm travelling and a music fiend but I recently downloaded Dreamfall 2 and it's a pretty swell narrative driven adventure game. I'm not too far into it but enjoying it so far and from what I read the story has some reasonably deep themes. They are also developing a sequel, and will probably fund it via kickstarter - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-11-09-dreamfall-chapters-will-be-a-single-player-adventure-game-for-pc-and-mac

"The gameplay focus will be on exploring the story, rather than quick reaction and manual dexterity.[1] In a later interview, Tørnquist stated that the Dreamfall combat system will be removed altogether. The game will have more puzzles than Dreamfall but they will be better integrated into the plot than in The Longest Journey and balanced by a large amount of world and story exploration." <SOUNDS GOOD TO MEEE

So who's played it? Also I finished Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay. It's got shitty A.I but it's got some pretty neat ideas and I enjoyed the gritty prison break atmosphere. I think there's definitely enough weirdness to be in the dump topic for stuff catamites might like.

Hi all,

Typical problem here. My hard drive although being recognized by my computer, won't let me access any files and says it needs to be formatted.

Any recovery tools or ideas you recommend?

I'm guessing it's missing a partition or something. It froze and acted weird when I tried to transfer a huge amount of files and that's when this problem started.

I don't wanna lose all my music!!!!!!!!!!!

Out of sheer boredom I started reading Riceboy and Order of Tales and they were surprisingly good. I'm now reading Vattu and it's also good. They can all be found here:http://www.rice-boy.com/ The art is really great, there's no shitty humor, a good storyline etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations for any other decent webcomics?

Before recommending anything, please consider the following things because there's a million webcomics online with this stuff and it's just not for me sorry:
No shitty internet humor, no lolz, no cats, no jokes about videogames. No anime-esque animation. Generally this stuff sucks. Must be reasonably mature. I'm not a kid. I'd prefer a storyline/adventure one also rather than a one off comedy one. However, if it's something special feel free to recommend.

I swear this is the fucking hardest game in the world, I can't even get past the third stage. I've learnt the combos but I never have enough time to do them anyway.

I don't like buying games for a hundred bucks (because it is a waste of money when you can get them in two months for half the price)

Currently, there is a sale on at EB Games, I'm leaning toward getting resistance 2 but feel free to share with me your opinion on which game you prefer. I don't know if I'm going to get uncharted because apparently it's ridiculously short.

hello

I'm putting this in general because it relates to all types of media and therefore can't just be put in one forum.

I wanted to talk about immersive media, I like reading/watching/playing stuff which is immersive and set in an environment which truly makes you forget where you are.

Does anyone have any suggestions or memories of stuff they felt was particularly immersive?

I can't think of any off the top of my head but the first book which made me feel truly immersed was probably Chronicles of Narnia when I was a kid.

I haven't played online yet but I heard it's pretty buggy and not really worth the effort which sucks because that was one of the main
things I was excited about!


What do you think of it? Favorite characters etc?

I'm still a Jin fan personally. None of his moves are too complex but I'm pretty good with him.

Man I get the worst sore eyes lately, red and constantly straining. I think its because of gaming to an extent but I also think its because alot of my assignments I have to write up on the computer.

I'm not someone who buys a game brand new for a hundred bucks and pre-orders it with a little book and tin case so I usually buy games once they get a bit cheaper. Killzone2 is pretty cheap at the moment and I've heard pretty good things about it. Who's played it?

For those who don't know the breakfast club is basicially a competition where you see who can go the longest without masturbating, sometimes girls enter (which I might add is kinda bullshit as girls generally have a lower/DIFFERENT WHATEVER sex drive than guys).

Fuck I've had ear problems most of my life.


Yesterday, I was swimming at the pool and my lil sis accidently slapped me in the ear and now I'm pretty sure I have a perforated ear drum. It's not bleeding or anything but I can't hear quite properly and there's a dull ringing. - http://www.bcm.edu/oto/jsolab/tm_me_mastoid/tympanicmembrane.htm

Obviously I can't say for certain as I'm a poor student who doesn't like to pay for doctors but my flatmates had the exact same symptoms as me and one of them went to hospital even so I'm pretty sure I have it.


Current symptoms:

Feel like dying
Body is achy and joints hurt
RUNNY POOOS!
bad cough
worst flu in the world

I just found out about this movie today, it's the sequel to the Tron movie, is scheduled for 2010 release and features a soundtrack by Daft Punk. What do you all think?
