Originally created in just four hours for a Poppenkast competition, Zeldalike RPG 'Bat Castle' had much more potential potential then four hours could ever allow realization. So I have spent this past week finishing what I started. I haven't gone into work, I haven't gone to class, I've just been working on Batt Castle. I haven't left the studio this entire week.

Honestly I am glad to be done with this project. I've been feeling extremely uneasy ever since I started on Bat Cassle. Just an intense dread standing over me, 24/7. I haven't been able to enjoy doing anything else since I first created the file. Trying to sleep was ridiculous - I felt like a little kid, scared of the dark. The game just has such a dismal aura. I don't know if this is because of how I felt or I felt that way from working on the game. Either way it has been hell. Sorry, just needed to vent some.

But that's all over. Testers are finding the final bugs as I type this and the file should be available for download later tonight/tomorrow morning. Personally I won't be sticking around for it, I've got plenty of sleep to catch up on! :coffee:

that's all very true, and if you queue with someone else you'll have a good chance at having the first pick. i've had tons of games of 5v5 where all three of them were banned though. people really hate strong support and heimer and xin are much weaker now.

i think shaco will always be banned because 1) he is annoying as fuck and 2) you have to trust your teammates to not get ganked by him every minute starting at minute five

xin never went through the 'real' test realm, they had it disabled during that time

i don't know what they were thinking with 400 + 25% of current hp at level 6, those numbers are just retarded on the face of it

apparently a lot of people got suspended but the forums have been down all day so I can't even tell what is going on. the game is fun but it just has so many non gameplay problems all the time

had a gaming session with chef, i think we learned a lot about combat, gaming, and, most importantly, each other.

nunu bot walked all the way from his fountain to ours in a straight line to try and kill chef after chef killed him. i wish it would have been recorded so i could make a hella sweet video

when i comment on stuff i do it assuming everyone is level 30 and has played since beta mostly because i am an idiot

but the things that work up here on snob mountain will work down in regular folk valley

sorry farmrush for that horrible game earlier. i know it wasn't all my fault but it didn't help that my power kept blinking on and off all game, probably too many air conditioners on around here. at the end my power just cut off completely. i haven't had a game go that badly in, uh, i don't remember when. then again i usually play soraka lately

also whoever your friend was was spergin out of control the whole game. the other team was clearly outplaying us the whole time, there's no reason to be such a jerk about it.
