My point was that most of the people I talk to who hate LP are "I love Metallica" people. I wasn't using them as an excuse. I don't need an excuse to like a band, if I wanna listen to them, I will. I don't give a fuck if you like them or not. They're nowhere near being one my favorite bands, but I don't think their music is horrible.

Despite the vendetta against them on GW, I personally like a lot of Linkin Park stuff. I hate the people who are all "nu meta crap". The isn't anything wrong with nu metal. Not all songs have to have 2 minutes of guitar solos or have been written 30 years ago to be good. I can't stand most 80s bands, so yeah.
