Well yea, but my problem is them stupidly rushing into combat from great distances, and then only making things worse. Anyway I can prevent that?

This is actually a pretty fun game, but it is an incredible pain to learn all the things. I've been playing this for the last week or so and haven't lost once. Maybe I'm just that good, I don't know, but if you don't mind me potentially screwing up the entire fortress, you can count me in.

Also, I got a few questions:
- How do I get my Trader to go do her job at the depot? Sometimes when the liaison comes she spends the whole time 'Conducting Meetings' with him and then the caravan leaves. I do the normal required things, but sometimes she just doesn't bother.
- Is there any way to remove zones, because pressing x on them does nothing.
- How do I get the rest of my animals in the pit? As far as I know I've selected all of them to be thrown in, but when about half are in the pit the dwarfs just ignore the rest (and the pit still says 'Not Full').
- What is the purpose of fortress guards? So far all they've done is as soon as enemy appears, no matter where they are they drop what they're doing and rush single file into battle. Being no more then civilians, they were met with a swift death and managed to depress most of my military to the point where a few went insane/melancholy and others threw tantrums.

The fire flying kind of ruined the fight. I mean, it was ok when Azula used it to get a slight boost a couple of eps back, but outright flying? At least the additional abilities for other elements make sense, this just seemed tacked on so kids would think the fight was cooler then it actually was.

Yea, this Umami is the 5th (or 6th?) taste, and it wasn't really discovered. More of like finally accepted. It came from japan iirc, and it was described to me as tasting "brothy".

But on topic, I can't really say I recall tasting something from memory. But I can make my mouth water when thinking about eating something sour, like lemons. I guess its kind of related. I wonder if there is something like photographic memory, but related to tastes.

I didn't like the song in Benders Big Score, but I did like the story and really didn't expect . I thought they did a pretty good job with that twist, but the whole time paradox just got confusing and pointless.

Actually, the instant I saw Lars Even that it must somehow be related to the paradox came to my head. But the brown hair kind of threw me off when I gave it more thought. And the time paradox confused me too. It seemed like there'd be an extra with all these time jumps, from what I understood.

Was I the only one that didn't realy like Bender's Big Score? Aside from when , it wasn't even funny. But on the other hand, Futurama as a series was great, so I'll definatelly give this second movie a chance.

Tonight's episode was retarded. And I can't believe they were able to show Randy covered in cum on tv.

Shh, don't spoil it for those on the west coast.

@thecatamites:

The reason I would say is because most people try for 'epic' stories, and almost always those are 'serious' games, so you can't have any of that in it to really be taken seriously, can you?

On-Topic:
This is one of my todo things far down on the list. And while I may never get to it, fleshing out the world in itself will make it more interesting, even if the setting isn't totally original. I mean, you can have plenty of interesting things happen in a boring world  but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to make the world itself interesting as well

While looking for other anime, I stumbled across the 1st episode of this (subbed). If its not on the first page anymore, you can find it on the right after scrolling down a bit.

Inri, the void couldn't be a mistake because even in the presented article it states that other such 'holes' have been discovered. I mean come on, can so many people make the same mistake on so many occasions?...well yea...but very highly improbable, near impossible.

Man, there are so many cartoons in this thread that I haven't thought about for years. I used to watch Street Sharks (I can't believe someone else remembers this. For some reason I think this was very obscure), Gargoyles, Reboot, Mummies Alive, and a few others.

I remember one episode of Reboot where this kid asked(wished?) to be 2x(?) times smarter then everyone else, but whoever granted that wish just made everyone half as smart as the kid. That incident was an eye opener for me because, I don't know how to explain it...it made me realize that there can be another side to the outcome other then what is obvious/intended. I think this is the only reason I even remember this show.
