In my opinion, it sounds BAD for two reasons, and GOOD for one reason.

Bad: Not to be able to move on just because your stats are not high enough, would probably make a lot of players frustrated.
Bad: It might just be too easy or not challenging to simply "walk through" a monster, some people will find it boring, unless the story is really good.
Good: It might be a good change, if you have a good replacement... Perhaps you can turn that into Quest Points which you receive from side quests. Some people, like me, just hate the regular battle system; I find it repetitive and annoying, unless it's really really really good like in Balmung Cycle, or unless it's customized. In my game there is an option to 'Turn Battles Off and On'...

Could you be more specific about the Events? That could be anything, starting from common events to simple in-map events...

Thanks for clearing that out, Atari. I didn't want to cause any more damage with all these programs. BTW, I tried the "Screen Massage", and my monitor made really weird-squishy colors around that area, ofc I tried to turn it off and on while applying strength but it didn't seem to help... I have warranty on it but they won't give me a new one for one stuck pixel. I guess there ain't other way of fixing it without a risk of damaging the monitor... I can't help but notice the small details...

Actually, I did that a while ago and it didn't help me with the screen tearing in streaming videos or anywhere else... Let me check it again and see if I still have screen tearing in games... Maybe it's just my Graphics Card? It's very old...

Thanks...

1.  Unfortunately, there is no such option in my Graphics Card...
2.  I already tried that and I also tried JScreenfix yet it didn't work.
3.  My monitor has a lack of adjusting-options, I think I managed to define that in my Graphics Card options though.
4.  My monitor suggests 1920x1080 resolution, and you can switch between AV and DVI mods, nothing works... Does it really really matter?

Thanks again! :D

1. Hello guys. I've recently (about 1-2 months ago) purchased an HDTV LCD which also serves me as a PC Monitor and I have so many problems! It's LG M237WA, 5ms. Unfortunately, the over-rated W2353V isn't a TV ~ I wanted to have a TV (A TV card is way too expensive for me). When I got the monitor, I was so excited, it was great in every way, the Full HD was awesome, and the colors were fantastic, until I noticed something weird in Videos and Video Games, my screen split into two halves when showing fast moving objects, after a quick search I found out this is called "Screen Tearing". I tried adjusting the HZ, (I think my TV supports maximum 75, when I thought new LCDS are supposed to have maximum 100hz), but nothing solved the problem except Virtual Sync, which cannot be triggered everywhere. Apparently, I have screen tearing everywhere, even on my desktop. I tried checking the "Triple Buffering" at my Graphics Card options, yet it didn't do much. Now, my Graphics Card is a bit old, and it's taking it's time with my 1920x1080 resolution: ATI Radeon 2600 pro HD. Doesn't work quite well; but I can run my favorite games, well, most of them... Is it my monitor, or my graphics card? I really don't know what to do, or which of them to switch, and the small details drive me crazy.

2. I also noticed a turquoise color-changing stuck pixel, tapping on it didn't help. Any ideas?

3. I have bad color schemes, it seems un-natural (you can clearly see the different lines of schemes) . I downloaded HD wallpapers 1920x1080 and most of them don't look good, any ideas?

4. I have two ways of connecting my monitor to my Graphics Card, DVI and VGA (VGA connected to a DVI slot with some sort of converter). After reading some guides I figured that a DVI connection would show better results, yet when connected through DVI and not VGA the picture becomes ugly, not sharp, like it's missing the "Anti-Aliasing" I have with the VGA. My monitor is close to the computer, I don't think it has anything to do with length... Should I just leave it be?

Monitor:

M237wa

PC specs:

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 2600 pro

tell me anything else you need to know, I don't know what to post except for the Graphics card.

Thank you guys, hope it's not too much. I would appreciate any help, it drives me crazy.

I did not read the storyline, I am not a fan of final fantasy, and I do not like games that are based on very popular and infamous games; !!!HOWEVER!!! This game looks absolutely fantastic! You've got the spirit! I will get more into it when I'm not half asleep... :)

I'd probably give it a shot... It looks very well done, but my major problem with such games is that they're way too colorful... I like serious games, and it looks like the main character is going to smile very often.

Hahaha. I'll be downloading it soon.

Actually I'm glad it's about MP3s, the experience is much better with good quality music.

It looks interesting, downloading... I'll edit this or post a new comment once I finish the demo.

EDIT: 116 MB for a demo? MP3 files?

ShiveringWind, I have uploaded a copy of it up to Rapidshare. Hopefully it works.

http://rapidshare.com/files/356884206/Zephyrus_and_the_Kingdom_of_Heaven.zip.html

BTW, I second Corfaisus. I've been looking for Alex 3, and The Blackmoon Prophecy in their full/most recent forms but cannot find them. The links on this thread don't work, unfortunately. I would be thankful if I could have access to those games.

TY SO much! I've been looking forward into playing it again!

Could someone give me a link to Zephyrus & the Kingdom of Heaven that works? The current link seems to be broken...

What Pipcaptor said would probably be enough, but you may also consider other programs like Sphere [you ][/you].

A question:

Will you be able to control the dark one's abilities, or will they occur during the story?

Sounds like the second story has the necessary potential of becoming a good game, I'd like to thank you for not making that scientist a villain, because I have no intention of running around trying to stop great villains. :)

It saves quite a lot of times and give you to opportunity to reach beyond the limits!
I would defiantly make use of this in the future.
