I don't think music with violent themes really could cause suicide. For a long time, parents have tried to blame art forms instead of pre-existing psychological problems not attended to.
But the fact that the teacher played it in class? I don't know...It's weird, it's unprofessional, but the school shouldn't have gone to this extent.

I don't see how I can win here, unless I get involved in a lengthy debate and you clearly aren't going to budge on anything, so I don't see the point. Like you said, I am too dumb/ignorant/full of bullshit to argue correctly anyway. I'm not admitting this sarcastically either, you are right. I am a propaganda-spreadin' idiot.

Fine, I did fuck up by not explaining my stance. The video isn't a good example of anything, I stumbled upon it yesterday and found it interesting. My first post was ill-thought-out, and I understand why I would seem ignorant because of it.

But please stop assuming I love Hilary Clinton/I am getting mad because you're showing Obama's superiority over her. I did not ever say that Obama was less qualified than Clinton, nor did I realize I was posting a "Clinton propaganda" video. I did not refute your arguement because, as maybe you did not read, I do not support Clinton.

I am leaning towards McCain. Because he has much more experience, he's not going to cut taxes like crazy like other Republicans want to do, he is against universal health care, he is in favor of environmental protection, he does not want to pull out of Iraq early, and he doesn't let religion influence him greatly like most Republicans. And that is my stance.  :woop:

So much old-school hate! I'd rather play DQ8 than the "modern" RPGs like Mass Effect or FF12 or whatever. Seriously, in order to appeal to the average consumer, they are forcing RPGs away from their roots. I'd bet FF13 is going to have action-heavy elements with mild RPG elements thrown in. When a game like DQ8 or Lost Odyessy comes out, people rail on it for being too "traditional" or "boring", which basically means it's too much of an RPG and not enough an action game.

This game got below average reviews. The hit detection is supposedly pretty bad, which I would have guessed. I don't understand the point of this game...Why would the DQ franchise mess with a perfect formula?

Better/More Multiplayer Modes
Branching Single Player (or longer than 5 hours like FPSs are nowadays)
Include Carbine
Shotgun less powerful/inconsistent
More emphasis on ACTUALLY USING COVER in multiplayer.
4-player co-op (duh)

They have a lot of work to do.

Yeah but the PS3 focused so hard on their Blu-Ray and matching M$ online, they forgot to make good games.
I'm wondering, though, how can the PS3 have a Blu-Ray player, and standalone players cost more? It really makes no logical sense.

Speaking of upcoming fighters, am I the only one disappointed with the Soul Caliber series? The original on the DC kicked so much ass, but the 4th one looks really terrible. They've just gotten worse and worse.

I don't see the big deal with any of the new formats. I do not own an HDTV, nor do I care to. I seriously doubt the public really is ready to switch from their good ol' DVDs.

I have to agree...They really don't get a cinematic feel with the supers that they were going for because of the goofy graphical style. I dunno, maybe it won't be a big deal, but there is no need to hinder gameplay like that.
Oh, and the new characters are meh.

They HAVE to put in M. Bison, as well as Vega, Balrog, and Sagat. Bringing back the SF2 8 and not the bosses doesn't make much sense. And I doubt anyone original characters from SF3 are coming back. They seem to be going in a different direction. THEY TOOK OUT PARRIES!
