It's easy to craft a positive experience there once you remove the default boards and go for smaller ones.
My account is worth it for how /r/pixelart has improved my portfolio, alone.

Just my 2 cents though.

Is there a reason a lot of the old GW members are coming back, or have we never left and just decided now to show ourselves again?
Shit Man, this place contained a nice big chunk of my life back in my early teens; I drop by for a yearly visit to salute.

Have you guys considered maybe starting a subreddit or anything that's more internet 2.0? As an extension to this place, reddit doesn't do communities as well as good old message boards

That's one purple arm, also weird story. Were you low on iron or something?

Get well quick, this doesn't seem fun

The Ur-Quan Masters.
http://sc2.sourceforge.net/

It's like space age Spore, only interesting, fun, good, 20 years old, hard, vast, and not pointless

I love Uncharted and recently got it cheap after borrowing it, Haven't touched it much since honestly, but I wanted it in my collection.

I've played Killzone 2 demo and was quite impressed. I never bought it because I've had three FPSs, and this genre should stick to mouse and keyboard.
It also gave me headaches. Online seems very good.

Lair demo was horrible and pointless.

Orange box is great, but should be played on PC. The PS3 version is considered the worst version.

If you can find it cheap, get Folklore, I loved the demo, it's beautiful and has funky designs.

Overall, Uncharted and Killzone are my choices.

I got Sam & Max Season 1 and 2.
I'm really spending more than I  meant to.

i am angry because mass effect was a really good game in concept but you can only enjoy it for 4 hours

From my painful experience that never finished the game, I can advice to NEVER do subquests EVER.
I was going all completionist when I realised I spent half the game doing the same stupid filler mission over and over.

EARTH IS ROOM ENOUGH WAS REALLY FUCKING GOOD.

I agree, it had some really advanced ideas and great stories. I still like Nine Tomorrows better though (Profession and The Feeling of Power are simply amazing).
I find it funny that Asimov evoked all those fantastic inventions but never got over punch cards.

I am now reading The Dispossessed  and My Brother, the Yakuza.

got the game yesterday and played for a bit and had a blast.
I got trolled into jumping from the highest point in the Nexus.

Also, rolled a thief and not sure if it was a well suited choice for a first character.

I really want this, but paying the extra cash for a game I'm not sure how I'll appreciate is pretty harsh.
Shit looks awesome though.

Seems like Second Life. I don't like this whole thing.
This reminds me I didn't ran Folding@Home for quite some time. Now here's a productive way to use your PS3 when not playing games: listen to elevator music and FIGHT CANCER AT THE SAME TIME.

Speaking about awesome.

That's where I got it, I tried following the instructions, unzipping doesn't seem to work, did both system and the program folder.
The CMD gives this message:

"msvcr71.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.

This file can not be registered"

I did not, since more than one software had problems, I assumed the source is rooted somewhere else.
Really? I've ran a virus scan on the file before opening it and the site I got it from seemed legit (though they do have good disguises nowadays!).

You know, as much as I love MPC, I can deal with the alternatives. It's really R:TW I'm worried about, or perhaps that it'll spread out.

So, eh, this is what happens when I try to run a file with Media Player Classic. It also happens when I try to run Rome Total War.

Not too long ago, some messages started to appear occasionally about above dll committing an illegal and shutting down, it happen often after opening a folder, and usually showed up twice-thrice in a row.
Ever since then the above imaged issue occurred.  I don't see the dll shutting down message anymore for some reasons.

I ran a registry scan and cleaned everything and downloaded a new .dll to replace the old one, no improvement.

Help and advice would be much appreciated.
