Been with GW for 12 years which is half of my life! 25 now. Initially joined GW for game development stuff but got involved with the Soldat sub community here so only soldat players would probably really know who I am. Currently going to college to become a network admin, figured I'd get sick of playing video games if I were to ever go into that field.

i thought season 7 was really good until and then the rest of the season was just boring and contrived.  The narrative fell apart, and it just felt like the rest of the episodes were completely filler.

edit: of dexter i mean
apparently they killed isaac early because ray stevenson's schedule didn't allow him to film the rest of the season which is a shame since he was the only plot i somewhat enjoyed in that season

i agree. this episode certainly doesn't feel like a premiere and nothing really happens in this episode. i thought mike was gonna do something but he just stood on the side for the whole ep. now that gus is gone, what is there left for breaking bad? I was excited to watch season 5 because I watched the past 4 seasons a few months ago but after watching that episode, it left me rather disappointed.

Yeah, I didn't mean to insult your work put into this at all! EvilDemonCreature is right in what I was implying. Since you are remaking ff7, you already have the story/characters/design and stuff laid out for you to work with compared to an original game where you would have to decide everything from scratch hence where the effort would take place. I think it's pretty obvious that the work you did is quite a substantial amount.

since you plan to remake this, are you doing a straight 100% remake? i think it would be neat since you have the tech to build some secret new boss or optional area in the ff7 universe.

oh so that's what molebox means!

anyway the game does feel like ff7 but it's still very weird because it's not 3-D like we originally played it. I also tried breaking your game and didn't find any bugs so far although I did trigger a battle as i stepped on the exit but the battle didn't start and changed maps instead.

you do have a neat game going on here though and makes me wonder why you don't create an original game. however, i do understand making an original game would take more effort.

I haven't seen The King's Speech and I probably won't because I can't shake the feeling that it's first and foremost an OSCAR BAIT film and that bothers me.  I'm sure it's a very well made movie (sure!  Why wouldn't it be?) but it's also very obvious that it was made in the Oscar Materials Factory for the very specific purpose of winning some clown(s) an oscar.  Boo.  I can't get on board with a movie like that.  I think it's very telling that I didn't see it yet I KNEW that it would win all of the major awards (specifically Best Picture/Actor).  Maybe in five - ten years when it's further removed from the oscars I will be more capable of enjoying it, but in five or ten years I won't care about it and neither will anybody else.
Just want to remind everybody, especially those of you who aren't aware of this, that the oscars don't celebrate art.
this is exactly the reason why I haven't bothered to check it out yet. but then again i feel the same way for most oscar nominated movies.

i play LoL a lot and i haven't played HoN yet but if it's exactly like dota then i would say i think they are equally fine. I never understood why there must be a debate over the two games and why people can't accept them both. Playing LoL makes me miss a lot of the HoN/Dota mechanics but at the same time I enjoy what LoL has done for the genre and improving certain aspects of the game.

anyway yeah today was a patch day but something went wrong and the maintenance took longer than usual. now the servers pretty much broke

Playing Spiral Knights now that it's released. I'm really enjoying it apart from the fact that I have to stop playing after two or three hours and wait a whole day before playing again.
Buy crystal energy then? It's only 2.5k crowns right now and considering that you gain at least 4k on a full tier 1 run, energy is not an issue yet.

I recently played soldat again after years of inactivity with dicko and dragonslayer, fun times.
