Hello

My name is Saleop. I was more active on IRC back in the day, but occasionally posted and lurked the forums.

I created a series of parody RPG Maker games called "Ultra Quest" with AnonymousGuy, who I've long since lost contact with. I think we made about 3 or 4 games total. If anyone here happens to have any of those games on their hard drive for some reason, I would appreciate if you could upload them somewhere.

I saw the pilot and ended up enjoying it. I was actually taken aback at how a lot of people hate it because of how privileged and white the main characters are, particularly the spoiled starring girl. Maybe it was just me, but I didn't sense that you're SUPPOSED to like the characters. Not on the surface, at least. I got the feeling the whole point of the show was for it to be a satirical look at entitled, white millennials. If I'm actually supposed to relate with and like these characters, then yeah, fuck this show.

Final Fantasy XII. I overlooked this game when it came out back in 06 or whatever but now I see it's probably the best final fantasy of the past decade or so. It's much more of a GAME than X and XIII. It doesn't have Tetsuya Nomura's dirty fingerprints all over it so that's refreshing. The only thing that kinda bugs me is all the Shakespearean language, but the conversing between the characters is a definite improvement over X (where the delivery was so awkward it was as if none of the voice actors ever had a fluid conversation with anyone ever).

small game making forums are a thing of the past. everything is consolidated into a few major sites nowadays. it's not just this community that is dead.

i have an earthbound cartridge i got at funcoland like 7 years ago or so. i dont know how rare that is but it is probably the rarest game i have.

oh yeah, i also have Incredible Crisis for PS1.

Well it's great they're taking the exact same strategy for this device as they did with the original PSP. Expensive and high tech slated to come out months after Nintendo's gimmick-based handheld. I guess they're banking on DUAL ANALOG STICKS? Or was the PSP actually a "success" to them?

Im thinking of getting an HDMI cable for my PS3. It seems to only be able to go to 480p atm and i want it to get to 720p which is my TV's max. Does quality really differ between the prices of these things or should i get the cheapest?

The only thing that I'm still puzzled about is what the hell WAS Kayson, exactly? And what was his motive? And what effect did "planting his seed" in women have other than death? Was that just his way of staying alive forever? And did they always die when they were planted with seeds? George's mother was apparently seeded but she still lived didn't she?
