just noticed this L thing when browsing the forums, it doesn't always appear, but it's been appearing pretty frequently in the past 15 or so minutes that i've browsed the forums.

edit: ignore that, chrome bug, it's happening everywhere.... grrrr edit again: actually it was a spotify bug, apparently it's drop shadow will appear over any window you place on top of it.

Vel has said before: a 'Like' or 'agreement' Button. (perhaps inform the poster when they get a like or agreement for one of their posts)

A voting system for polls that allows weighted 'rank' votes in multiple choice polls. (plus all the nifty poll features we had when the poll forum was booming)

Maybe a Steam/XBL/PSN name section in our profiles.

Pips... perhaps custom pips.

We already have the "subscribe to this thread/forum" and "view New Content" buttons which is cool but it still might be nice to have a system that tells us when someone specifically replied to one of our posts with a quote and a button next to topic names/page numbers that jumps directly to the first non-read post in a topic.

yea i mentioned this b/c it's built into ipb (as is the fact that it gives notifications), it seems like this is a dumb thing to have but once i was on a forum that used it and it turned out to be p. dang nice

idk about the 'like' button per post thing. that seems to me like it's not particularly useful, and it's bound to be popularity based. but if enough people want it I can implement it, I guess.

Actually, more than the 'like' feature, i'd request a feature of saving a comment. And being able to view it on your control panel or whatever and have other members be able to see what comments you've saved. It would be easy to just save an awesome comment than having to plow the whole thread or memorize what page it was in.
