Right now on the main page there's a "Recent Topics" list that lists the recent topics that were posted in.... of course they don't show the actual post but you can at least see the last topics that were posted in (and by whom).

Actually no, nevermind. That just seems to be a list of newest topics? I agree with bwiz, a list of recent posts would be cool. A box just like the recent topics one but "Recent Posts" would be perfect.

Also on the menu bar there's a "New Content" button. I have all the forums marked as read so that page says "No new content" for me, but maybe that page will show posts you haven't read or something.

Sounds cool to me I 3rd this motion. (if that even matters)

just putting this here so I can link you to it later.
[15:59] <dada__> http://www.rijnmond.nl/nieuws/05-02-2013/50000-kilo-noten-gestolen-hardinxveld-giessendam dutch news: 50,000 kilograms of nuts stolen from a storage
[15:59] * bladder_x [Title] .000 kilo noten gestolen in Hardinxveld-Giessendam | RTV Rijnmond
the title wasn't being correctly reported, should've been 50.000 at the beginning.

It was also blue (so I assume it took the 50 to be the color)

oh, I didn't even notice that it was blue on my end (on mIRC) but I guess yeah it probably needs an extra "all codez end here" character.

something I just noticed, idk if it's been mentioned before: in my personal messages, it says eg "sent to Bonzi Buddy and 1 other", and then hovering the mouse over the "1 other" it says another username I guess? usually "Mr.Mario" which I guess is mr malibus or whatever, but sometimes it's like kroqgar11 or zhuidream or Clyde_Bain or some other member the message wasn't sent to. it's weirding me out.

edit is there a 'search this thread' feature

Yep. If you're in a topic, that's automatically what it limits the search to (but you can click on it to choose something else)

i'm on chrome on win7

- if i edit a post with a<pre class="_prettyXprint _lang-auto _linenums:0">...</pre>block in, new lines inside that block seem to get stripped out, so if i just edit and save without looking everything gets bunched up in there
- the red "Cancel" link when quick-editing a post sometimes does nothing

some things are screwed up a little, sometimes posts get rendered to HTML and *then* saved to the database, leading to the <br /> thing

i just quick-edited that previous post and when i hit "Save" it didn't go back to being read-only, it did the little green "doing something" animation at the top of the screen for a sec but then stayed in edit mode (but the changes were actually saved)

Saw this in Dada's list:

modify old saltw.net and gamingw.net domains so that they redirect here

This is super important and I still think we should our name to something more SEO friendly, otherwise it's very rare that new users are going to stumble across this forum.

apostrophes in thread titles cause broken HTML in the front page in the "most recent post" bit where they are used directly inside single-quoted tag attributes.... for example:

<img alt='Can't Think Of A Good Name... - last post by denzquix' />
<a title='Can't Think Of A Good Name For Your Game? One Weird Tip, Discovered By A Mom'>...</a>

Thanks. There's a lot wrong with IPB, I'll do an update to the software soon and then start working on some specific issues. It's just that I've been inhumanly busy lately. But it's getting extremely annoying.
