Ah, I tried that. It didn't go so well, but it did the job well enough. Coast might be better, since the pieces are more Grand Prix styled. There aren't any nice buildings or anything, though.

Bay is very atmospheric though and I love making regular racing circuits on it. Over the weekend I had a friend, who only plays Trackmania once every few months, race on this track with several of my ghost replays. He did not do too well!

UPRC you make exactly the opposite tracks to me. I love making wild insane completely impossible tracks.

Yeah, I do that when I'm a bit bored or out of ideas. That's when I just start placing pieces randomly and seeing where I end up in terms of design. Randomly designed tracks are the best. I like making regular race tracks though because I feel that finding the right line around the turns is more challenging than making wild jumps and the like. I watched my friend do a few crazy tracks and he did fairly well, but then when I threw him onto one of my "normal" tracks, he really stuggled. I think it's because the cars of Trackmania are very sensitive and fast, much more so than arcade racers, and this doesn't blend well with slow, winding race tracks.

I should really try to make a crazy track in Bay that involves leaping from building to building and could be named after some generic building leaping superhero.

I haven't done many tracks myself, but if I got back into it (I'm sure if we get together you guys will force me back into it) I could make some more.

ALl of the tracks I did are on my youtube account, though.

It's ok, but..

3 environments: Stadium, Desert and Rally(iirc, at least), dumb graphics, no online play, dumbed down track editor.

Otherwise it's the exact same game... I guess.

Looks decent enough for Trackmania fans.

Here are some tracks I made.  I like to make fun one-stunt tracks.

EDIT: And here's the start of one track I made.  The beginning is awesome, but the rest is pretty boring.

Well, since we're posting videos, why the hell not?

I don't recall where the track is from, but texture mods can be pretty awesome.

Some track I made while looking at texture mods. It's pretty fun, iirc. Not too long or hard, but still original enough to be entertaining.

A bland stadium track I did sometime ago, it's... well, bland.

I just realized this track looks better than I remember it to, and it looks fun to play again. Either way, it's a slow coast track modeled after Super Mario Kart's Rainbow Road.

I just realized I only ever made 3 complete tracks. What a shame. :(
