Man I find Gran Turismo to be the most boring thing ever, I brought Prologue and I got tired of the same tracks in about four days. It's just not an exciting game, online play sucks and everyone quits as soon as they start losing a race. The game is overly realistic.

Honestly, give me Racedriver Grid anyday. Far more tracks, far more styles, far more FUN!
Well, keep in mind that Prologue is basically just a large demo. The full game will have over 900 cars and, from what I understand, nearly 100 tracks.

Man, I love Blu-ray.

Yeah but even the other Gran Turismos just annoyed me. I felt like I couldn't "let loose" and just enjoy myself. Each to his own I guess.

I was really interested in this when I first heard about it and decided against buying the Prologue knowing I was going to buy the full game, I had no idea there was going to be such a huge gap in between the two otherwise I would have bought Prologue... that was all over a year ago roughly and sinse then I forgot all about this but if it does eventually come out then I will get it because I remember love playing GT4 on the ps2.

Custom soundtrack support? I don't see why they wouldn't include it. So many games allow it now.
Playstation games can't do this as Microsoft gave Sony seven years to implement it but they never did so Microsoft finally just decided to patent it for their console/future use.

I used to be a big fan of Granturismo, I still remember playing the original and finally obtaining the GTR Twin Turbo(Fastest car in that game) and just having a blast. I actually have GT3&4 but never played much as they were still basically the same games just more cars and stuff.

That's why I turned to Forza as it has more things to do, plus car damage and custimization, online, etc. Best car game Ive played though was probably still Mario Kart or something as they are so much fun.. Or Test Drive Unlimited, awesome game.

I went out with this girl in like grade 5 and I remember her calling me one night because she was trying to do the license challenges or whatever and she was getting really frustrated and pissed off. ThAT'S my GT experience.

?

Press PS button while playing a compatible game.
Go to music and choose what you want to listen to. Press X.
Ingame music mutes and is replaced by your own tunes.

Practically the same way custom music is handled on a 360.

I seriously can't wait for GT5 now, I really just want to hear about a release date.

However, I am angry towards the things europeans get:

if they preorder gt5, they get gt5 psp for free. :(

So they finally moved the series forward.. I'll be getting Forza 3 though as I can't afford a Playstation 3. Even with the price drop New Zealand still pays over $150 extra then else where.

GT5 plus a wheel controller is on my to-buy list. I'm a huge GT fan even though I haven't played 3 and 4. Never really found any other racing game to come even close to the magnificence of GT.
