Yeah him aswell, they both get 3-5 points per level (ish). Pretty crummy compared to Yangus, who gets 6-9 (give or take), enough points to near enough get a new skill for Humanity each level, while slowly maxing his Scythe (stupid skill point cap ¬.¬)

I've been playing grand theft auto 4 off and on for like a year, as it was the first game I bought with my 360. But yeah I'm playing that right now I guess. I think I'm actually close to beating it.

Is it just me or is it a ridiculously long game compared to most these days? Granted I've done a lot of side shit and just messed around for fun but I was shocked to see I had clocked 47 hours so far. Thinking back, the story is pretty ridiculous, since it starts with you just getting off the boat and you do work for so many different gangs and mobsters.
WHY SO SERIOUS HAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

I'm considering getting S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for my friend. She mentioned it and I thought I'd buy it for her as a surprise, but is this game any good?

Very good, one of my all time favourite games. Exceptionally good bullet physics, and the horror element is excellent, perfect atmosphere and stuff. It's an excellent game.

The Movies. This game is overlooked, it's seriously fun and just so many things you can do. Plus the hilarity of the movies animations you can make. I made a 15 scened movie and it took 3 years and $180,000 and completely bombed because I released it during the depression and action movies just not the thing to see. It had some critical acclaim but that didn't matter when the movie didn't make it's money back and made me lose over 300,000 and almost put my studio under haha.

I nearly pissed myself laughing at some of the things I made on accident in that game.  I am going to download that again, it is very very fun for a few laughs.  I put one of the ridiculous chase sequences in every single one of my movies though, sometimes more than once.  Classic.

I hadn't thought of that game in quite a while, but I dug up one of my screenshots from it (every movie focused around these two characters no matter what genre or anything, it was always these two):

Downloading Tales of Monkey Island Episode I - Launch of the Screaming Narwhal

Apparently they're trying to hype Monkey Island suddenly by rereleasing Secret of Monkey Island in new graphics and voice overs... but it's only for 360 arcade and not PC yet? It's coming to PC... but giving a console exclusive to a PC game is kind of odd imo.

It's out for PC, you can get it over Steam, in Europe atleast. I remembered seeing it online and just checked, I've played Curs of Monkey Island (never completed tho') so might get it.

Still playing P4, although the boss I'm upto really hates me and likes to kill me just as he get's to low health. And it's only the boss of the second dungeon :O Granted I rushed to his room sooo I'm only to blame :S

EDIT: Nevermind, just beat him, constantly hitting 125+ damage with two characters kinda helps, plus a little luck on Yukiko's side of dodging things, she usually get's 1 shotted when the boss powers up.

This new monkey island seems to be really shittily made. I'm well above the system requirements but it still plays like shit on low settings. That click n drag navigation just awful and the very first part is on ROCKING SHIP which makes stupid pixel hunting a little hard especially since the game doesn't even use a hardware cursor for no reason so it's jerky as fuck anyway

My guess is that when you're trying to restart a series it helps if you can narrow down the piracy to legitimately see how well it'll do.  With something like Monkey Island, it would be incredibly disappointing to have it fail after being gone all these years.  But yeah I don't really see how the SoMI remake is HYPE, think about....idk a large portion of 360 games.  A lot of them are just ports or updates of old games, because people like them.  Quite a few previously PC games have been finding homes on consoles before their PC counterparts (Worms, Sam & Max, etc.), that's just the way the industry is working right now.  Plus this was hardly just for sales reasons, you'd be surprised at how much an art update and more than anything the voice acting changes things.  And it...wasn't very sudden either, it was announced at E3 like everything else.

I've not gotten Tales of yet because I don't really have the cash at the moment to buy every episode (you could buy single episodes for SBCG4AP, why not this one?  Was that only for the Wii maybe?), but it's supposed to be fantastic.  SoMI:SE was incredibly fun, even though it was over very quickly seeing as how I remembered most of what I had to do so there was very little puzzle solving.  Curse is still the best one tho  :fogetshh:

This game so far seems meh. It hasn't made me laugh yet, and yeah it is shittily made. I had to turn down the graphics by 3 points for it to run smoothly. It also does kind of suck it's episodic. If you have to pay in bulk for the whole deal, why not just launch it as a solid packaged game from the get go? Unless they're not finished the other parts? We'll see though, it might have potential to be an alright MI.

Trying to play through Final Fantasy A2 on the DS.  It's alright, but tough to get into, at least for me.  Just makes me want to go play the PSP remake of the original Tactics.

Every single review I've read about it is incredibly good, so idk I guess you should play it for yourself.

Don't quote me yet! I only landed on Flotsam Island and met the current captain of the Screaming Narwhal and local news reporter. So, I'm basicly just started.
The intro portion was kind of funny, in an expected sort of way. That's what I get for watching trailers...

Right now I'm uh playing these games:
EVE Online
Audiosurf
Class of Heroes

Let me start by saying that EVE Online is boring as fuck but addicting as hell at the same time. I honestly don't understand it. I do like the whole prospect of me making money while I'm not around though. That is cool. I can dig that. There are some pretty high moments of exhilaration in some of the missions though. Like facing about 14 frigates and a destroyer and trying to figure out who to target with what. The game is really in depth and it's definitely cruel if you slip up and end up in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Audiosurf. Well, I don't have an explanation for playing this one except I don't have an internet connection robust enough to handle a real game like Counterstrike: Source or Killing Floor. It's very shiny and I like the competitiveness but eehhh...

As for Class of Heroes, it feels like a watered down Wizardry with way too much item management. It tried to get a bit in depth, but it fails since the only strategy in the game seems to be, "Attack with all six characters until someone gets hurt pretty bad and then attack with five characters and heal that one character. Rinse, repeat." It's a massive grind fest, and that's no good for a dungeon crawler.

All in all, I miss the old days of Counterstrike. I really do. I have itches and urges sometimes. I really gotta get my internet sorted out.

Playing through my absolute favorite game of all time, Lunar for the PSX.

Then when I'm bored, I'm working on a perfect FFVII game, which is tedious as hell, but it's something to do while I watch something on tv that I'm not especially into.

I'm currently playing Sly Cooper. The fact that I love what I've played so far makes me excited, knowing that there are 2 more games in this series that I can pick up afterwards!
