Free games? did I miss something?

PSN got hacked and was done for a few months, sony halfheartedly made up for this with a free month of playstation + for everybody plus 2 select games at no cost.

Really?
So if I take my ps3 out of the box and reconnect it, I'll be entitled to these free games also? or was there some sort of time limit to apply for them?

You should still be able to get the games. I really wanted to get Ratchet and Clank, but that was only offered in Europe I think.

I've been enjoying L.A. Noire. Feels like a game that would result if Grand Theft Auto had a baby with Heavy Rain. It's awesome.

PLaying TF2. had one of the longest single TF2 sessions ever. Funny that this occurs when it becomes free. I noticed that I was doing very well, indicating the large number of new players. As I usually suck.

TF2 turned to complete shit when they started introducing the updates. I put it on the same level as WoW for failed potential.

I've never played wow (and probably never will). So I can't technically say its not like wow since I basically know nothing about wow's mechanics. But I can say that TF2 is a lot of fun with the updates, though it would be micrometer better without hats(or anything extra that's merely aesthetic). I wear them anyway.

I like have a lot of options for combat, the weapons add a bit of thinking with setting up the characters for each situation. Also, I like progression in my games.

My only issue is their methodology of 'drops'. I would have preferred actually, like... knowing what I'm getting close to unlocking and being able to work towards it but I think the achievements are usually too ridiculous to bother with.

bloody good time is like TF2 if it was fun and didn't have teams/fortresses.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE NOTHING EARC but I think it has the same loose/pretend competition and sort of exciting cartoony feel, but to a greater degree

People still play Monday Night Combat? I've only put in like 4-5 hours into it when I got it then sort of forgot about it. I kind of feel like it was a waste of $20 because IDK if it still has players now.

That's my problem with multiplayer based games. Like when I got QUAKE WARS. the online community wast just... DEAD. and I'm like welp great waste of fucking money. Server lists should be more accessible and transparent. I shouldn't have to start a game to know if there are games going on it it. Think about it. lets say you have some free time and you notice somebody is playing that game that you used to love but has recently died from lack of players. You join it, then notice that others who liked it to start joining. Now imagine this with all the games. even the ones most people thought were shit... They'd probably all start having semi-regular games up with actual people in them.

I watched some gameplay movies and decided that it looks a bit dated and that I'd rather have an expensive pint of beer.
