I play, replay and rereplay all the HL episodes. They are truely amazing. As a consequence I open Garry's Mod for 5 minutes each day and tie an explosive barrel to (the) Alyx Vance and send her into the outer atmosphere.

She is the most annoying NPC in the history of the acronym.

And yes I did just pretentiously insert a "the" into the sentence to sound like a Vortigaunt.

Haven't tried Portal yet, but gave Team Fortress a go. I fucking suck at that game, man.

Yeah, I suck at it most of the time too. Same with most of the multiplayer games the use the Source engine because you can't look down the sight in any of them, and I like being able to do that cuz I'm so used to CoD...

Like, I am what most would call a Halo fanboy (I honestly, consider myself just a "fan", not a "fanboy", but most of you would say I'd be wrong), but I really wish I could look down the sight in multiplayer sometimes.

The whole idea of BR's would be completely ruined if that ever happened.

to me, the BR is what makes Halo so fun and competitive,, if you know what you're doing.

IDK, I'm more of a power weapons(shotty, sniper, Spartan laser) kind of guy. They feel more satisfying to me... with the exception of the rocket launcher. Plus, the BR was made to be a replacement one of my favorite weapons in the Halo universe, the M6D. That alone makes me like it less because the M6D was WAY more fun to shoot. If they made a rifle like weapon in the halo universe that was as powerful as the M6D was and performed in the exact same manor, I doubt anyone would have complained about it being overpowered. People just see a pistol and think it has to be weak.

Rock Band: Beatles.

It's Rock Band. With a DISAPPOINTINGLY small number of Beatles tunes. And the Beatles themselves, in their animated form. . . I like the fact that you can do vocal harmonies now (you need three microphones to do all the harmonies, though). I also got a kick out of the Authenticity game trophy. There are these animated movie things that go on while you're playing songs; some of those movies are really pretty to look at. Others are so bright and trippy that you'll wonder whether or not you just took a hit of acid; it's those movies that make focusing on the game difficult, especially if you go into Beatlemania (formerly the Overdrive feature). For the hardcore RB players out there, you'll find that this game is much easier than any of the other previous RB outings (unless you're dealing with vocals, but that's a whole new story).

I'm a big Beatles fan, and I'm glad I bought the game, but I am a bit miffed. At $60.00, I got 45 songs. For the same price, GH5 comes with 85. . . Downloadable content is (apparently) coming, but I can almost guarantee that it'll cost more money.
Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

tropico 3 demo

it's pretty good, animation is more than a little stilted unfortunately (soldier's guns don't even have a muzzle flash, etc)

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Currently, I am playing Diablo II with the Eastern Sun mod. I also recently got into Phantasy Star Online again and started a new game in Bioshock.

I have a few, but not really.

I play left for dead uncommonly with two good friends. We mainly almost always play custom maps and some of them can be quite a rush with how creative most of the map makers are like the zelda maps or the recent space harrier map I tried. I mostly try BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger with my little brother when I visit him but I've mostly been playing Runes Of Magic at home since I lack a good system (I wanna rebuy a playstation 2 but my little brother says a PS3 can play PS2 games so~) In dire need of a job so my collection won't grow anytime soon.

Doing much better that I did before.  Now I can usually get a 2:1 or even 3:1 Kileath Ratio :D

I'm replaying Castlevania:Symphony of the Night, partially to get a feel for how to pace that style of game, but also just because I replay it every so many years. This time, I used the luck code in the input name section. Apparently, it maxes out luck but tanks every other stat. It is making the game feel entirely different. Weapons are all but useless most of the time and you get killed in about three or four hits from anything. I've had to level up to 17 to get the rest of my stats and life equal to what I usually START the game with... but the challenge has been pretty fun so far.

I've had to rely on spells, a lot. I throw a few Summoned Spirits out to deal with medusa heads, dark metamorphosis healing from enemies that bleed is vital when I screw up and get hit, and soul steal is my staple in boss fights.

I am getting a lot more money and item drops, but in the first castle, the weapons and armor I've been finding haven't been much better then the gear I was able to find laying around normally.
