Yeah, I frequently forget about GW when I'm not actually on GW.

It's going to be a good game though! Well, it will be if they fix the load times, holy fuck...

I'm playing Red Faction for the first time.  I like to pretend I'm Douglas Quaid in Total Recall.  "You think this is the real Quaid?   ....IT IS!!!!"  *PEW PEW*!!

i am buying a starter kit from the 80s off of ebay, it looks like foosball plus pool only shrink it into a tiny size

i saw a set of hobos for model train landscapes once, i want to buy some and put them on subbuteo bases

also it is really bizarre because i went from going my entire life not hearing about it to hearing about it THREE TIMES in the last week (black books, you, and now i'm reading gorillaz - rise of the ogre and they mention it jesus christ what has happened here)

a friend of mine wants to join me and he says he has a bunch of really tiny star wars figures that he wants to make a subbuteo set out of, we are setting out to change the face of a game we've not even played yet

i'm going to have to do something interesting considering one of the players in the set i'm buying is broken and taped back together (which made it cheaper which rocks) so i planned on buying more players anyway, might as well buy some bases while i'm at it and make my own

there's a hobby shop near where i go to uni, i want to look at their model train figures and see what else they have, i know there are sets with hobos and sets with lumberjacks and other ridiculous things like that.  i saw someone online that had a NAZI TEAM

Right now I am playing Lost Odyssey at the moment on the XBox 360. I too have gotten a bit nostalgic and went back to play some older games. A few of those are FF IX and X as well as Fzero on the old SNES  :)

I bought that Osmose game that was really cheap on Steam. It's really awful. I also bought both L4Ds, Tropico 3 and the Oddworld games, but my internet is capped so they'll have to wait.

I beat Shin megami tensei: Digital Devil saga 2 after finishing the first one before it and it was so frustratingly hard. The last boss of the game was just a stupid statue-like creature (or whatever the hell it is) who has four different forms which can easily devastate your party if unprepared. The last boss had me fighting him over 15 TIMES!!!, each time coming closer to the last and then getting pawned. What I really hated about the game was that nearly all the bosses had you believing that you were owning the fight and when you get them down to low hp, they unleash these devastating attacks out of nowhere without even giving you a hint, so you have absolutely no chance to prepare. Also the ending that came after the annoying final boss was not even worth the effort. I found the first Digital devil saga game to be a lot better than it's sequel.

Right now I just started playing Chrono Trigger Ds and I love the newly added monster arena which I can just start up when I'm getting bored of the main quest.

I'm playing the original Quake for the first time on my netbook. On the few occasions I gain access to a better computer I play MW2.

If any one else has played the original Quake, you may understand what I'm about to say.

FUCK SHAMBLERS.

been playing L4D2. It's goddamned awesome, glad I purchased it. Although playing with just the AI teammates really detracts from the experience. At the end of Dead Center, for example, you have to collect fuel tanks. However, the AI isn't coded to pick them up. So you have to do all 13 of them. It's really annoying.

Picked up Etrian Oddyssey, giving me something to play in Physics in the midst of revision for the exam coming up, seeing as Kingdom Hearts and Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles (huh, just noticed that'd be AC:AC O.o) require a fair bit of attention. Been playing for roughly 8 hours and I've only just managed to get to floor 5. Looks like this one could take a while, which is good.

As for Kingdom Hearts, I'm just past the Dog boss, when Xion get's the Keyblade back. To say this is Proud mode Iain't really had much trouble up to now, only place that's really caused me trouble is the survival challenge, which totally SUCKS because dodge roll doesn't help one teeny-weeny bit, the dusks can still get me. Plus I seem to be running outta panels fairly quickly, too many abilities/Magic methinks.

I rented Grand Theft Auto: WWII (The Saboteur)

I have something like ten hours sunk into the game and I think I've done, like, ONE freaking story related quest. The rest of the time I've been running around blowing shit up and getting my Irish nuts blown off by trigger happy Nazis. The game has this artsy thing going on where you have to bring the color back to Paris by inspiring the people which is all well and good, but I've had to mess with the gamma correction in order to see what the hell is going on in the black and white areas.

Worth the rental, definitely, but I don't see myself buying it.
Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

okami.

so far some of the brush stuff is sort of annoying it doesn't seem to register some moves. maybe i'm just still getting accustomed to drawing a straight horizontal line. some of my friends said this game was cool but aside from the graphics i'm not sure how much i like it. the brush idea is neat but im not sure how well works.

anyone else played it?
