The best zelda is Majora's Mask fyi.

I got Okami, Suikoden III, and Dark Cloud 2. Kind of juggling between all 3 trying to figure out which one I want to play until I finally start this new job. I'll probably play suikoden III since it's my favorite of the series and Dark Cloud 2 isn't really interesting me too much and Okami's wii controls are sloppy.

Also FFXIII is so god damn terrible I couldn't even get as far as I did last time. Just such an awful fucking game.

no it's links awakening haven't you been paying attention?

Man I love the THIEF thing so much.  It's so cool that that's even in the game, the ability to steal things by just CLEVERLY RUNNING IN CIRCLES around the shop NPC.

Majora's Mask is probably the best because it's really weird but in this relentlessly miserable and unpleasant way. Like some of the design decisions to do with saving or going back in time are kind of bad but it is just so relentlessly stuffed with horrible shit jesus christ. Some of the characters become comatose with depression if you don't do their subquests in time and the fact that you have to endlessly start over means they are essentially doomed to endless cycles of misery and grief. Uh the best example is the GORON PLACE possibly because while before it was kind of fun/whimsical place with cool dudes etc in ocarina of time now its a horrible icy wasteland filled with the sound of a shrieking baby on repeat and with old men freezing to death in the snow. anyone remember the tree at the end of the tutorial level which is just an incredibly sad looking face on a shrub thing that you can't do anything with and it serves no purpose whatsoever apart from horrifying you because the entire game is basically like that. It is basically the dark world from ocarina of time except instead of holding out hope for return everyone just kind of gets on with things. oh well the moon is openly snarling at us with gigantic bloodred eyes, ho hum....

The THIEF thing is really good though. Like links awakening takes the little details from other zelda games and amplifies them to a ridiculous degree and makes them even more arbitrary (I just blew up a gigantic and ridiculously detailed stone pig's head which served no purpose other than to block a path) but it's still basically lighthearted so far I think?? I really like the JUG BOSS and the fact that when you collect instruments a maudlin 8bit lute tune or whatever plays for like five seconds.

Yeah Majora's Mask is one of the best games because of this. It has a bunch of just depressing/dark atmosphere, hands coming out of toilets desperate for toilet roll and so on but the fact that even though you can time travel it's impossible to help everyone is the most depressing thing about it. In every other zelda and most other games like it you can travel everywhere and fix everything if you're a completionist nerd but in MM there's so many people with concurrent problems that no matter how hard you try, old goron will die in the ice or if you save him something else awful will happen to someone else. It's groundhog day the game and it owns.

Dead Rising 2 co-op with a friend. I must admit that co-op in this game is really fun!

It's actually Zelda DX!

Seriously though I'm glad I wasn't the only one to feel this way about this about the Zelda game featuring a glorious lack of Zelda herself.

Pretty solid start for a reboot.

Calling it a reboot is a bit harsh. The Sorrow games where actually some of the better of the lot and Order of Ecclesia was absolutely fantastic. I have yet to play Portrait of Ruin (another of the more recent ones) but I did just get Harmony of Despair from Live and I don't think a multiplayer metroidvania could possibly get better mechanically (though design wise half of the maps leave a lot to be desired). To say that this new incarnation is a reboot to the series is an odd thing considering they haven't exactly stopped making games.

As for the topic at hand, I just finished playing Harmony of Dissonance for the first time and a 100% run (albeit with no stat maxing) of Order of Ecclesia again and I finished the non-dlc normal mode for harmony of despair on normal (though I got a ways to go before I'm good enough to finish the game on solo without help farming for equipment/ abilities on hard). I so want to play Lord of Shadows right about now.

Vacant Sky Vol.1 then it went all blank after completing it, as to why I had to wait so many frames to save for the next Act.

Now playing the second act. Wish the game could at least gain you more money to buy healing crap, Jeez.

Fallout New Vegas! Finally got it and I can't put it down. It's noticeably harder than fallout 3 but the concepts the same. I really wish that they would improve the non-VATS control of the game. Its still hard to move around the dude's gun on the 360. I bet this problems not evident in the PC version. I've played 6 hours straight and it gets pretty interesting. The lvl cap right off the bat is 30 so thats not too bad. The perks are changed where, instead of only giving you benefits they give you a sort of disadvantage too. eg for faster attack speed, your accuracy falls with the perk.
I dont really care for all the minigames vegas style they got going on, but meh. Good game for sure, I bet they're going to milk it with DLC's, which like a sucker Im going to get.

You'd think they'd add vehicles to drive through the vast land, but so far I haven't seen anything to drive/go faster through the area. It's weird because they had it in Oblivion and now a newer game by them doesn't have it. Oh well, gg.

I'm definitely getting New Vegas on Friday, even if it means going out of my way to find a copy.
I've heard it has more Fallout style humor than Fallout 3, which can only be a good thing as Fallout 3 was closer to Oblivion.
At least if it doesn't have horses or whatever, they can't charge you silly prices for some damned horse armor >:[
I say they look more like german/caveman then asians.
The Germans are coming to beat you with clubs and spears!

If they where to keep it true to Fallout it would be a jeep and preferably a junkie one that you need to fix.

I got FIFA 11, but is it just me or is there no world cup? I can't find it anywhere, only country specific tournaments.

Aside from that it's pretty good
