Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (For the Frog the Bell Tolls).  I love IPS patches! It's a fun game too! Interesting as most fights are automatic (like in Magna Braban or Chaos World) but with some level of control.
Apparently some of the system used here were later included in Link's Awakening. In fact, Richard originates here.

I actually recently just started up the 14 day trial of EVE online.  Are there any pilots on GW?  I tried it a few years ago and loved it, but didn't really have time for it.  I love the space combat and intense complexity.  But, it's definitely not for the faint of heart of "casual gamers."
I used to fly for GoonFleet. It was fun for a while, but I eventually realized that I would never excel in PvP without investing way more time into the game than I was willing. Also the game was way more buggy back then.

Darksiders, Diablo and Minecraft.

Is Darksiders pretty cool? I've seen a bit of Lets Plays, heard it was Zelda-esque in some way, it looks kind of cool, and Darksiders 2 is coming out soon. I might try it out.
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

Every room is a puzzle, controls are unresponsive. It's visually impressive, but stupidly similar to Ocarina of Time.
The puzzles aren't hard, they're just tedious as shit. I play it in short sessions to keep my sanity.
All in all, it's fun but I wish there was more than just puzzles, puzzles and pressing square to kill shit.

GTA 4 stopped playing for a long time because of that annoying helicopter mission with Jacob. I'm no good flying helichopters.

OK, at this point my gaming has been more focused on MW3. Because I'm getting pretty close to unlocking everything and my OCD has kicked in. I might not jump directly back into morrowind either because my younger brother got this original xbox modded and I want to play some games on it when I'm done with MW3. Thinking of playing Red Dead Revolver.

I got Morrowind on Steam because there's a sale and I'd never played it before.

I want to like it. I just don't think I do. I haven't really completed any quests yet but its music, graphics, gameplay and bland text paragraphs all make me want to take a nap. I'll give it another chance but right now it kind of reminds me of all of the stuff I didn't like about Oblivion and Skyrim without anything I found cool about them.

Oh, well, I suspect I still like it because of nostalgia mainly. But I like its atmosphere a lot. Its combat and stealth are both pretty crap though.

I mean, it's not a bad game. I just think the next two games kind of took the same formula and improved upon it. I think nostalgia and order of play really determines one's favorite Elder Scrolls. Like, I totally admit Skyrim is technically a better game than Oblivion, but I played Oblivion first and it seemed fresh and new so that's still my favorite.

Ah, I see. Yeah, Morrowind was the first elder scrolls I've played. I've barely touched Oblivion and had still never played Skyrim. I will eventually though.

Its funny though, the Elder Scrolls games are literally the only 'fantasy' games I play and like. With maybe the exception being the first Fable.

I'm usually all about modern and sci-fi stuff.

apparently the Skyrim patch (1.4?) that addresses the save file size issue and the FPS issues (on the PS3 only? Not sure) hit XBL today and should be available on PSN today too. That's cool.

I'm still very addicted to Dark Souls, and my brother has now surpassed me immensely. He's crazy addicted, has a char on New Game+ and is getting close to NG++, which is pretty awesome.

We've also been playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 which is one of my favorite Co-op games.

I'm starting to enjoy Morrowind a bit more now that I've made crazy spells and found some decent quests.

I also downloaded the complementary Hi-Res Skyrim textures Bethesda released with the mod tools. Um... about the best I can say is "Yup, it looks like Skyrim." I think it looks a little bit better but not 3 gig download better. I wasn't even entirely sure it was on when I booted it up to see how it looked.

The Steam down time is driving me crazy. I've been playing Minecraft to stave off further madness.

I approve of your choice in games, Guana. Gabriel Knight is awesome.

I played the Gotham City Imposters demo and I liked it so much I bought the game. It's only $15 bucks, pretty good deal. It's basically Team Fortress 2 + Modern Warfare. But I like that. I was never super good at TF2 and it's been out so long a lot of people are crazy good and it's not fun for me to play. COD is pretty much boring as hell, especially since all the weapons are either useless or the same as everything else. It's just super boring to me, but the fast-paced action is fun and nice to have in a FPS. Battlefield is a superior game but I always feel like I have to commit to at least an hour, and usually matches can last at least 30 minutes.

With GCI the matches last usually 5-15 minutes, plus it's new enough that nobody is really any good at it so I don't just get slaughtered. They have a nice mix of realistic weapons and silly weapons (freeze gun is cool, shurikens are cool).

It's nothing groundbreaking though, it's just your standard team-based arcade-style FPS unlock-a-thon. Worth 15 bucks though IMO.
