Have you ever tried pushing and picking up a big dog? If they don't want to budge they're not gonna budge especially big dogs. Mature Labs are particularly impossible to pick up, i've tried.
A tool is a tool regardless. I mean if you suck, you suck, and not even the most perfect tool could save you. And if your damn good then even with the worst tool ever conceived you could chug out some high quality shit.

if the dog wouldn't fucking move then just leave it, christ

to be fair, i think it is really easy to underestimate how fast a train is coming at you.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

I didn't cry when I read this. Not that sad but reality really. Shit happens and in the end it was comendable of the old man to try and save the dog.

Honestly, this guy is either incredibly nice, incredibly brave, or incredibly stupid. I would not even approach a train track for a dog, even if I thought I had the chance. I mean, it's not really a risk worth taking.

those aren't the options, he could be a normal guy who loved his dog and thought he could save it and get out of the way in time. a train will also pull you into it as it goes past depending on it's speed btw

Maybe the tracks were slightly downhill and the guy was walking along just before the train passed when he saw a dog and went "oh shit", thoughtlessly lunging and groping toward it and misjudging the distance he would tumble.

If it was just moments he'd be dead anyway since he's so close to a speeding train, the conducters noticed he was there so they were far away to atempt to stop.

maybe do it with three peeps

two jump on the train and another stays on call on a phone and when the two jump off train they call him and he comes and gets em.

I really really want to do this. I think it would be best to jump on the back though so it don't run you over.
