I know, it's just that the minoans are the ones that stood out in my mind at the time, mostly because I am really interested in their language and writing system which we haven't decyphered yet. I get off on mysteries!

today I went to university city in philly. it's really nice there!! now I realize why I should have gotten better grades in highschool/had rich parents

I got in the UPenn museum of archaeology and anthropology for free. it was really nice. their permanent Egyptian section is a lot better than that piece of shit travelling King Tut exhibition. while I was there I found out it was Turkish Celebration day but I missed the cooking class and the free food. I bought a bag of roasted & sugared chickpeas from a Turk but I haven't tried them yet. then I went to an asian market and bought a can of Mr. Brown coffee with a caricature of a latino on the front and these really good hamburger candies that manage to capture a sense of hamburger even though they're made out of chocolate and biscuit.

what kind of opinion? it would be a really uncomfortable/disconcerting place to live but I think that's part of the concept. there are some things you could do to make it more appealing in this aspect if you want to hear them. I like the overall design with the major solid supporting structure to the back and the floor opening right in front of it. there should be a sliding panel beneath the glass floor like a fake trap door. the railing in the livingroom appears to be too low for safety. the one cactus is in a dangerous position. the natural light would get really oppressive. I think it would be cool if it were attached to and jutting out from a larger structure, with the back wall where the bedroom is being the connecting part and the hallway there a door into the larger building, then the outcropping on the other end could be a balcony instead of a walkway.

you kind of need a picture which I'm not going to draw again but it was like what I said about having a visually open shape like that jutting out from a building but in layers and with grass and trees OR a continuous waterfall running over them with a bed of riverstones which already are within the vocabulary of roofing and walkway materials
