Just like when someone asks you, "Do you believe in God?"

Usually, people relate to Yahweh in the Christian religion. But there are so many other religious figures that are worshiped as gods, too. What about Shiva? What about Zeus? What about Allah? What about Vishnu? What about Odin? etc.

This is not true and the argument was that it was ok to ask "which bible" because the other person could be talking about a different bible (mormon bible for example)

Also, regular books, whether ancient or modern, can be considered one's own bible, aswell. Meaning that you usually sit down to mainly read THAT book. It doesn't have to be a book of religion to be considered a bible.
