I don't actually know!  I'm currently in communications with the professor leading it though, so hopefully i should find out the exact nature of it soon.  But yeah, its through my school's marine biology department, and either way it is going to be totally awesome.

it's a sony ericsson, which means it has a lower-quality cybershot in it.  i picked it out specifically for its nice camera.  takes v. nice outdoor shots but not as nice indoors.

my other camera is a really nice canon video camera so its pictures are way better!  i just need the charger so the battery doesn't die while copying data over (or i guess i could find out where i put my sd card reader)
