Oh yeah, and wonder why Drule isn't responding to certain posts here? Why he's saying the same thing to some of the complaints? Hmm...It should be pretty self evident.
Alec: Drule has Bart's full backing, whatever he decides. That's a lot different than he's given to previous admin teams.
As far as I'm concerned, you're lucky that you're being allowed to rant.
I had a similar situation where I accepted a free cat that was advertised in the local newspaper a few years ago. The women who owned him brought him around, gave me some advice DO NOT LET HIM OUTSIDE, promised me he was housetrained and then left me to it. A friend of mine came around, and the three of us (myself, my other half and my friend) played with the cat, which was TERRIFIED!!
My friend left and returned an hour later. In that time:
- The cat had shit under the table.
- While taking the poker mat (which he shit on) outside, the cat managed to open the door and bolt away.
- While chasing him, my other half had fallen over and, while I was laughing, started screaming at me about how it was "A LIFE DUDE" and I shouldn't be laughing.
My friend found the whole thing hilarious.
I phoned the people I got it from and found out:
A) It wasn't actually their cat.
B) It was a stray they sometimes gave milk to.
C) It wasn't actually housetrained and wasn't used to being indoors.
THEY HAD TRIED TO GIVE ME A STRAY CAT.
Later, they returned to me with the cat and told me I WASN'T ALLOWED TO HAVE IT ANY MORE!!! They'd prefer to see it on the street!
A month or so later, the cat ran when it saw me in the street.
GOOD TIMES! That is my total experience of cat ownership.
