over the next few weeks i have to go to day hospital at a mental health centre, mon-friday. yay. also docs won't give me more than like five pills at a time now for fear of overdosing :(

on lighter note, went music shopping t'other day. here's the cd's i got
Agitation Free - Fragments
Sun Ra - Soundtrack to Space is the place
Gong - You (already had it, but gave it as present to a friend for her 18th, since the album meant a lot to me(stopped me being mental back in '07), and she has supported me a lot lately, so it was like making sense in some cosmic way)
Acid mothers temple & the melting paradiso ufo - Have you seen the other side of the sky
Acid mothers temple & the melting paradiso ufo - Myth of the love electrique
The Boredoms - super roots 8

also drawing a jack kirby style picture (all my pics these days are kirby clones) of like new age and eastern religion stuff. pretty cosmic. cosmic comics... hey that name works!
relatively positive post ya fox!! hell yeah

my room has beige walls, first thing i did after moving in few weeks ago was order some japanese noiserock posters because i am so hip and trendy and get to sleep under a photo of a bearded guy surrounded by psychedellic doodles spelling out acid mothers temple.

you should all get this book, mark steel's one of the best comedians ever. it's about like how the left socialist movement is different now, how new labour never did anything right, how capitalism makes everything boring, and how his manic depressive wife would cause major arguements over sandwiches.

i am hearing strange noises comming from the living room tv, and i just realised its because my housemate left it on sky one before going to work, and the noises are the sound of all credibility draining from existence. i dont have the energy to go down and turn the tv off :9

Does anyone know if that Buffalo Springfield song 'For What It's Worth' (STOP children whats that sound everybody look whats goin down etc) was used in an episode of like Eerie Indiana or that Goosebumps show or Are You Afraid Of The Dark or something because I heard it just now and it freaked me out for a second because I guess I have some kind of weird kid associations with it?? Like that sense of vague dread you get as a kid when you watch something and can't completely parse it or whatever so it might even be a comedy or just some boring garbage but it seems very strange and detached and significant. It could just be some dumb soap opera but you just see some big guy opening a window and jumping inside and it seems disproportionately weighted and you don't even think of it as being part of some wider plot or whatever. Anyway I don't know why I thought it was the theme song to Eerie Indiana but it's bugging me!

Also if I haven't posted in a while it's because I was on holidays in Greece with my parents/brother for two weeks! It was nice. We were in a p quiet part of Crete and there was nothing to do but stroll around / swim / visit old ruins (none of them greek weirdly!! there was a venetian villa and a roman archeological site and some turkish fountains and stuff). Near the end I got heat stroke or flu or something and spent whole days sitting on the hotel balcony and reading and coughing and drinking a hot honey-and-raki drink like some awful southern gothic guy. The raki was really strong and locally made and sold in old halfliter water bottles for three euro. Also I got one of those plastic keyboard/harmonica things in a bargain shop. The plastic is really yellow and I really like the uh feel of it?? Completely shallow hipster decadent kitsch I guess but I like it it's a cool thing. My cousin worked in an irish bar in a more touristy area there and told us horror stories of wasted students throwing up every night. I didn't see any lizards, frogs, tortoises, turtles, snakes, jellyfish or weird crabs and was kind of bummed about that but oh well. My dad got a lighter in the shape of the donkey from Shrek, it's really big and awful and huge jets of flame spring from both nostrils.

I spent 4 and a half hours today affixing software keys to paper sleeves. Built up a neck and back ache and all the labels had the same fucking key on them.

I spent half of my summer putting labels on envelopes then stuffing them.  It's surprising how much this hurts to do considering it seems so damn EASY.

AFAIK For What It's Worth  wasn't used on any of the shows you mentioned, but it apparently has shown up in all sorts of other places, including The Wonder Years.
*Has just spent the past 10 minutes attempting to crank out Theme From Mash (Suicide is Painless) in Anvil Studio using only the Qwerty keyboard* I wanted to play some music but didn't feel like lugging over a keyboard tonight. I've also been talking with my job coach, as for some reason I really don't want the Kmart job and am thinking of continuing my job search.

I have spent most of the time on a machine just loading discs but occasionally I have to go over to the table and stuff envelopes and shit. yeah I assume it hurts because the position you have to hold your arms in to do work at waist level. I'm just glad tomorrow's my last day and I'm back to school on tuesday.

lol somebody somewhere made the point that Plato's Allegory of the Cave is basically the first conspiracy theory why do we hold this guy in such high esteem he was just the ancient greek version of some teenager who spends too much time on youtube and votes for ron paul... whoa... this could all be some elaborate fabrication of reality wake up you sheeple. Not that Plato interpreted it this way but I hold him responsible for those kind of people

Edit: I love imagining random historical figures this way though like just some random loser who got lucky and not like a SAGE or whatever... or kind of weird and rambling like me and maybe he had some random speech impediment

Edit: forgot what wiki article I was reading but Issac Newton believed in chemtrails or something

Edit: I'm serious just he had a different theory like if you rearrange the Bible 57 times it spells "Barney the singing cat" or something I assume like BIBLE SECRETS or whatever

I'm trying to decide if that's genius or idiocy.
I suppose some of Plato's contemporaries felt he was a kooky nut too...

*Wonders where his copy of the Pre-Socratics is*

I would really need to read up on like, the implications of the allegory but just joking that for anything people always latch on to the stupidest possible interpretation of things (whoa Matrix shits) it does seem kind of like a circle jerk about philosophers being super cool dudes with special powers though the whole thing about the people still in the cave does reek of SHEEPLE

but issac newton really did believe in bible code stuff I think that is mentioned often though? Like whot he's into maths but is also religious dude??? lolwtfrotflmao

Philosophers weren't  super-cool dudes with special powers, they were just  intelligent thinkers who had the nerve and insight to start asking questions about the world instead of assuming things were a certain way..In some ways  early philosophy was the root of the scientific method. It doesn't take genius to be a scientist or a philosopher, it takes understanding and the willingness to ask questions and explore the answers. Each of us has the power to see things that way, we just need to get in the habit of using it.
