I am starting to realized that the music my 21 year old son listens to with the super speed tempos and blazing guitar work is because the mind is expanding and able to take in so much more information than previous generations were capable of. We've gone from Mozart and Bach to Glen Miller and Benny Goodman to Children of Bodom and Killswitch. Even Mozart was a lot to absorb but listen to some of the new stuff. It's almost hypnotic because it's so much information it's brain overload. All good.
