I worked 9 hours being the bitch while my friends' family rebuilt their home. I moved ~300 2x4x16s only to find out that they only needed 40... of an entire different plank. So I carried all 300 of those back down and set them back in their place, brought the right ones up to the house, then cleaned up all the scrapyard around the area. Then I got to carry huge sheets of plywood from one side of the house to the other, and hold them while they nailed them to the side of the house. And there was this one massive plank I had to carry, it was like a 3x12x12 or something. Only had to carry it about 50 feet but it was heaaavvvy.
Despite being sore as heck, I can't help but feel euphoric. Manual labor is awesome (although it probably isn't so if you do it every day your entire life)
don't mind me, just postin' after a few brewskies
