I really liked that. It needs work though, doesn't flow real well and I don't think it could be easily sung. The ending chain of verses was hilarious.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

I am going to a christmas ball sometime soon and I agreed to go because this girl I like keeps nagging me to go with her. I have never been to a ball in my life and all I wear is indie crap and I have no idea where to go to get the right shoes and clothes without ending up super poor.

Someone help me out here.

Be ready to spend cash because that shit is expensive or try finding some weird store with an eccentric manager that sells second hand stuff (from my experience, you UKers have a few of those). Don't get 19th century clothes though because how cool it may look, nobody else will think that unless it's halloween. Oh, don't go to other countries and expect it being much cheaper either. You could go to a ball in a different country and get away with 19th century clothes though, if that's an option. You can thank me for these tips by sending me money.

Starting up morning with Irish radio, eggs and tea. If it wasn't raining, I'd be getting ready for a walk but as it is now.. it's leaning towards masturbation and continued Irish radio.

you should be able to get fake leather shoes fairly cheaply and borrow or rent a get-up for under $100 (i don't know what this is in 'quid') but it probably won't be that flash! that being said you can get away with an awful lot at a uni ball, especially if people know you're an engineer

QD sells cheap-ass shoes that don't look in the least bit emo/indie/scene (but are really comfortable and disintegrate over a year unless you coat them with PVA due to not being able to afford new shoes like I do)
You can get cheap shirts and MAYBE SUIT THINGS??? from Tesco and Asda.

You'll look like a cheapo but balls are for tossers anyways
