I only know of one indian place in my county and it's very near a university and it looks really gross outside. I've wanted to try it though.

indian food is the best food. tandoori chicken is the least impressive and most "western" friendly i suppose. none of their food isn't western friendly, but its basically just chicken. Maybe the tandoori chicken you saw was better, but the indian place i go to has really dry tandoori chicken that tastes ok, but its just so dry and boring. man indian food sounds good today :(
yes coulombs are "germaine", did you learn that word at talk like a dick school?

Well that explains it, must be a British thing having all these curry houses about.

Friday night curries are somewhat very popular amongst a lot of British.

the sub continent used to be the jewel of the empire

It will put Tandoori Chicken to shame. Basically it IS tandoori chicken, but flavoured and sauced up with Butter Batter. Usually eaten with rice or pita. A different thing to try if you liked tandoori chicken in any way.

so Butter Chicken is named for butter as in a stick of butter right? For some reason I thought it was an Indian word that happens to be spelled butter, there's another dish called Mutter something

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

I've actually never been to an Indian restaurant. 3 of my 4 roomates in the fall were Indian so I tried some of the food their moms made - one was vegetarian. They always make fun of Indian restaurants because it's a really vague title to begin with - what "Indian" food? There's so many ethnicities and different cuisines in the country alone to warrant many many different restaurants. It's the same with Chinese restaurants, some of my international friends find it funny that we have "Chinese" restaurants that mix so many different specific regional cuisines together into one restaurant that you would never even find in China, and that most of it is really far from authentic.

I guess i'll just have to go to india

esian is living in india right now.

chinese american food is delicious. it's difficult to find authentic chinese food tho, you're better off looking for a less popular style of cuisine related to chinese eg burmese

come to dc pal, i will take you to the most authentic chinese place outside of china. you can tell it's authentic because only chinese people eat there, it has 3 tables, the bathroom is in the kitchen, and they have a chinese newspaper on each of the tables.

that's a real invitation by the way, not just me saying it. i took ramci there and he liked it. also i've only been to one burmese restaurant but it was disappointing. it was right across the street from roger miller's african cuisine. that's the place's actual name. or if you like thai food i could take you there. i also took ramci to bangkok garden which is the best thai restaurant i've ever been to (i've been to a lot!!!!). thai food is pretty popular in dc and there are about a million thai restaurants. i've actually been to most and i think bangkok garden is the best!! they give me free stuff ;)
