I am like 1/8th (my great grandmother was like 100% american indian) but I don't put it on those things because I haven't gone to my tribe to get the official paper work declaring me a member BUT I KNOW THE TRUTH!!!

I always knew I was part american indian but I thought it was like 1/32 or less and I didn't know the tribe

their hq is in oklahoma!! there are some specific groups in new jersey but I don't know if my g-g-pa was part of any of them

yea you need to get recognition and iirc 1/16th is enough for most tribes.

yeah, it's 1/16th, there was one back in my family and so i apparently am 1/16th, but i've never gone to get recognition (we do have some sort of paperwork or something but it's not the OFFICIAL TECHNICAL PROOF or w/e), my dad thought about looking into it to see if i could get scholarships based on this but we never bothered
