what's gw's opinion on chomslky
He's pretty brilliant in that he can construct a very clearly written and impeccably cited argument like nobody else. Where I think he's weak is in his proposed solutions which are always vague platitudes like "mass movements=good, more democracy, etc." and I think that's largely due to the distance between himself and the subject. He knows full well he's an ivory tower intellectual at a leading technical university and is in no way involved in the struggles of working people so I don't think he sees himself in any kind of leadership position that would involve constructing some kind of detailed 'game plan'.

"They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard" is stuck in my head, even though I have not heard it recently.

hahahahahahah

BP just gave the EPA a big fat middle finger regarding their use of dangerous chemicals to combat the oil spill. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5j7vkPPClc0lhglDZGwYrrcVS185QD9FS6VC03

And the reason is...

... they already bought up more than 1/3rd of the entire world's supply of the stuff. And that was one month ago!

gw has been on a roll for good album titles and song titles.  I've definitely got a few from spam bots and what not.

current mood: outraged by the lost series finale

reason: it took place in a christian church...

seriously tho it's more clear now than ever that the creators threw all this junk together without having any idea where it was gonna lead and they probably had a huge panic attack when they realized people were really into this garbage and were expecting something magnificent to come out of it. I kind of want to reviews by outraged fans but mostly I want to forget about it

current mood: outraged by the lost series finale

I've watched the show on and off since the second season, so I figured I should watch the finale. Early in though, it clicked and I pretty much called the ending exactly.

Best summed up with a quote from a Burroughs story, "and that was when he knew where he was going..."
Vagrancy - Be careful who you wake up in a twenty four hour parking lot.

His name was Not Johnny -  A young man becomes a sort of superhero after a crippling injury. He

i am going to start drawing for a comic called pcp warrior. i don't think the readers should see pcp man, the hero, out of his pcp induced state in the pitiful real world!!.... but it's in the script ;_;

o, what do i do?

altering between a strange deprie (i don't even bother to figure it out for today!! don't give a fuck for now) to blunt apathy for today. downloading music i don't really care about and damning tinnitus to hell. gw is still alive ya fork!! why you ask though. i get it it's a joke isn't it?

It's not a joke, I just picked up radical priorities and am almost done reading it and I wanted to know if he's just a giant heap of bullshit or not. It's genuinely eye-opening for me, but I can see about what dietcoke talks about his suggestions to be really weak. I remember reading someone said once that went along the lines of "I can either have this book in my hand and throw away my whole collection of books, or throw away this book."
