this seems like a waste of time then. why waste millions of hours and dollars proving what cant be done, when they could be focusing on doing things that can be done.

To know what not to try? And then there's the thing that it's all very theoretical and general, I think many of the problems can be solved computationally in some special situations which might include a lot of actually practical cases, so you don't have a general algorithm but you might still be able to do a lot of stuff important for applications. And of course, it's mathematics, I don't know about this exact theorem, but in most cases big theorems like this can have really strange consequences and can lead to something completely else concerning something that has nothing to do with computer science. Some actual mathematician would probably spit on me for making such horrible simplifications of his beautiful theorem. Like I read some comments about how if they had managed to prove the opposite thing to be true, that would have meant that theoretically machines should be able to be creative in the same sense as humans can. I don't how much of that is popular science bullshit, but kinda goes to prove how wacky things can get when you really start to dig up all the different indications a mathematical theorem can have.

I trust that the mathematics people know what they're doing and not wasting their time

Or maybe it's a conspiracy and maths is just masturbation for PhDs

is this major news in england yn? let me find the superior pics thread. got it, these people are acting as expected http://forums.superiorpics.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/2764073/1

in all honesty I don't care but I think she still looks pretty good in some of the pics later in the thread. actually I guess this is pretty good for getting all those guys obsessed with young hermione away from her. she looks a little like the american lady in breathless. and not that there's anything bad about long hair but I do kind of wish it wasn't the standard for women because I think a lot of women look good with shorter hair

I'm changing my name to mediachip.

Pretty much right
There's even a book with that title.
As for Emma's hair, I'm not certain it's the most flattering look for her, but if she decides to keep it and it looks bad onscreen she can wear a wig.

anybody see the new Milk commercials??? the person doing the voice-over (might be Ellen DeGeneres) whoever it is it's like they literally have a MILKY voice - or drink 20 glasses of milk a day - or just some weird milk nerd sort of person who bothers you constantly about milk (I like milk!! It's fun and easy to drink)
