I'm sure there must be a lot of cool features coded and everything in the background, but I don't see how this is currently any different from what was up the last few days. Besides the news post is there anything else on the site that will draw new members? It just looks like that's all there is plus the twitter side bar and links to the forums/IRC/poker ad.

I'm not trying to be negative or anything, but this just doesn't seem like a real launch until there is actual content on the site! I imagine that will show up shortly, which I'm excited for.

Are the forum themes really that horrendously constructed? What sort of ETA would be on a makeover for the forums? I can't wait!!

I won't hold my breath. Oh, I was also going to ask what ever happened to that Digg button. I'm not sure how much of an effect that would actually have, but it seemed like a cool option at first glance. Digg an article, people see it and get brought to GW, etc.

I didn't know people still used Digg.

I stopped checking digg when a photo of a gorilla picking its nose was front page material.

(real post: The "Web 2.0" name kind of died out awhile ago. Any information related content is going into being a "real-time" experience now as Twitter pushed that to a good portion of the mainstream.)
