Class D is unarmed, Class G is armed.

have any of you done this? does it cost a lot of money to get certified? is this worth it if I'm just looking to have a skillset for an offcampus or summer job or is it so training intensive that it's something most people only get the training for if they're planning on doing it for years?? does it look good or really bad on a resume if I'm considering applying for police/federal agency work after graduation? is the pay bump from D to G worth the extra training costs/having to buy a gun?

i know some of you have done this in the past so i thought i'd ask. thanks :)

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Seems like you could get some more high-profile and better-paying jobs with the armed license.  I know our Gulf Power headquarters has a guard decked out with a damn Magnum, and I'm pretty sure he gets paid very well.
