I remember when I started working in a school. I thought "I'm a teacher (sort of) now, I'm gonna start drinking coffee!" So after work I boldly marched into Starbucks with the plan to force myself to drink coffee. I went in and mumbled to the barista "err... can i have a coffee." Because of my mumbling he replied, "Sorry, did you say hot chocolate?" to which I replied "Yeah sure, why not?" and that's what I got. I decided that this was for the best. I've never attempted to buy or drink coffee ever again, and I'm pretty sure I'm not missing out on much.

its not bad, just not my thing

this is interesting, lots of people here don't like it/are disgusted of it!

i drink coffee, maybe one or even two cups at the morning and that's usually it. maybe another one in the evening if somebody from my family offers to make one.

i like it v much. i always drink my coffee black. i definitely understand those who don't like it.

one night i actually drank 3 coffee cups in a row, jesus christ that was the worst. my heart was beating SO FAST and i was really anxious. i was pretty much in panic and thinking "oh my god i'm going to die!!!"
also on top of that i'm adding Verne's comment: it makes your metabolism faster so WELP chances are that you're going to have a sudden urge to SHIT after a cup or two. perhaps due to this it also dry your throat -> more mucilage which is not a good thing for singer.

...i've been meaning to reduce or drop my coffee drinking habit!!

I drink my coffee black like my metal...

I'm not a huge fan of coffee, I can drink it but I rarely feel like drinking it. I prefer tea

I grew up in a family of truck drivers, where coffee is one of the basic food groups. None of this cafe latte crap, either. We're talking shit you could use to strip the grease off a motor. Sludge coffee. One cup of the crap I used to drink would keep a normal person awake for a week.

I do enjoy coffee, perhaps a bit too much. I like it strong, but I have to put a touch of sugar and some milk in it. I've discovered Starbucks, but I've had to cut back, seeing as Starbucks Espresso Truffle isn't friendly to my waistline.

I've actually thought about doing this before--just getting a bunch of types and sitting down to try them all.  Some day I will.

I like coffee. Caffeine doesn't really do anything to me though. I can drink a cup of coffee and go to sleep.

Tea is just bitter water to me.

Yeah, same. I used to drink coffee whenever I had a big paper due (usually the next day) and I'd have to stay up writing. It never helped.

I've been drinking really shitty tea though lately. I'm sick of this Lipton cardboard bullshit. Does anyone know of a good brand of tea?

I was thinking about this yesterday. no not this something else. do you guys think bitter and sweet are opposites, ie something can be sweet or bitter and if you add enough sugar to something it's no longer bitter? a lot of people seem to think so.

I never liked coffee until I tried it black. coffee tastes bitter no matter what and adding cream and sugar just make it taste gross and sweet and creamy. you can dilute the coffee enough that the bitterness is no longer a factor, but I think that only tastes good in like a flavored cappuccino or something.

I drink tea too but generally not black tea unless it's cold and in a bottle

Good question.

I think black coffee with sugar is bittersweet, while adding cream to it neutralizes the acidity and bitterness.

I love it, I like it black too but I usually drink long coffee with lots of milk and some sugar(not much).

I think it must have little bit of sugar at least to be effective for that purpose. It gives you an intense sugar rush.
