i'm pretty good with women and i haven't flunked out of college yet i guess

i am definitely a much more tolerable person than i was 2 years ago which is pretty alright i suppose??

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Those achievements pale into insignificance compared to winning an award.

AN AWARD FOR GREATNESS!

You could be as intolerable as you like if you had an award. Like it'd be expected of you.
Hey hey hey

i don't really have a singular accomplishment to speak of, but i am the most proud of who i have become, and continue becoming every day. that's really corny and stupid, but it's more or less the truth.

ALTHOUGH MAYBE PLEASE I WILL WIN AN AWARD?!?!
;_;
i would give you an award for A+++ DUDE ONE OF MY FAV. IN THE UNIVERSE but i do not think this will impress many people. i could be wrong though! you should print this post out and give it to your next potential employer. maybe they will see that the man in my avatar is wearing a tie and come to believe that i am HIGH OCTANE BUSINESS GURU and someone to be trusted, even though i am clearly not to be trusted!

wait, i am already indirectly making fun of the intellect of these people you would be showing this to. maybe they will be impressed that you HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER and were able to use it without ELECTROCUTING YOURSELF?????

I have never smoked or drank or done any drugs, not even pot or heck, not even HOOKAH! I haven't LIVED, but then again, I don't know what I'm missing so can I really be missing anything? Life's good.

Maybe that's an accomplishment to brag about, but I'm sure many here will rave that's nothing to celebrate!

I've taught myself to play about a dozen instruments, and play in a pretty well known band, and yet still, my greatest achievement remains my son, Eric Jr.

sublimal joke about satan It's not really much of an achievement in pretty much the same way that not beating the crap out of somebody that annoys you is not an achievement.

I am printing it to put into my CEPD as we speak!!!! I'm sure that I will make Head of Department with such a fine recommendation!

You can always trust guys in suits. I wear a suit every day to work, but am like only one of three staff members who do so, the others being in the senior leadership team. I am clearly BUCKING FOR PROMOTION!

Also I look stupid in just a shirt and tie :<

I haven't achieved anything real. And the only thing I'm proud of really is my first album. I guess I'll have that sense of achievement after I've got my degree and put on a show or something. Who knows?

i guess i'm a pretty good son to my folks cuz I spend more time with them than anyone I know spends with their parents(whos not living with them at least).

So the first two years of college i fucked around and was generally irresponsible and didn't take engineering very seriously, and as such, even though I've done quite well in the last two years, my GPA is very low, and no company wants to give me an internship (which is important because in the actual job market, relevant experience is WAY more important than GPA, but it's hard to get it without having a good one). I know that I know my stuff, and can perform well in any task given to me, but that one number basically makes my resume not get a second look.

So at the start of this summer, I was desperate to have any kind of engineering experience, and was made aware of a long-running project, started by a very respected and powerful professor in the precision metrology department at my uni. This professor was looking to hire two undergrads for the summer to work on a certain kind of microscope (atomic force microscope if anyone's interested) that usually costs about $40k-90k, that he was trying to have designed and built for under $2000, so that high school classrooms could expose their students to engineering etc. Basically a project drawing worldwide interest, and a very, very good thing to have your name associated with. Well, I sent this professor my resume, but he had pretty much hired two undergrads immediately, and didn't have room to hire one more.

So, I volunteered this entire summer, working the same hours as the paid students (20h/week), working on this microscope and maybe having a good reference for future applications.

Cue mid july, the grad student pulls me aside and says the professor's impressed with my ability, and the progress I've made on the project, and is dipping into funds he had set aside because he (of his own volition) wants to pay me to work on this project through the school year. He apparently also wants me to have a serious conversation with him about grad school, and he would do what he could to pay for my tuition and books, and give me a monthly stipend for myself.

It is pretty fucking radical, and I honestly cannot believe I managed to impress such a powerful guy enough to WANT to put me on payroll and put me in grad school.

On a different note, i upped my parkour training, and finally pulled this off.

Yeah, I loved San Andreas, but it was just such a black game. :x Like. Eh, I dunno, it was all so frickin' black, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of Vice City more.
