Guys.  I'm not going to say anything.  I just want you to watch this trailer.

Holy shit.  I want to hear what you guys think about this.

Alls I'm gonna say is that that guy can seriously pull off a sad face.  I wanted to cry.

Why have I not see this trailer? Is it new?

The trailer is too neat for me, the choice of music, the nice smooth panning shots and perfect lighting. I can't stand it aghhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's a typical feel good story to me but it looks good, definitely want to check it out.. Oh and, I hate the choice of music, who uses RED in a trailer.

EDIT:
I'm sorry, is it just me or does the whole white woman adopts disadvantaged "stupid" black man kind of um, wrong? I don't want to start another PBURN YOU'RE RACIST but.....................................

Yeah don't get me wrong I want to see this movie, I think it looks like it could be great but I'm not digging the vibe!

I feel like the entire movie can be summed up by one line from the trailer: "you're changing that boys life | welp, he's changing mine."
It's like the million feelgood movies they've made before.

if this is the case then you would love the lighting tech and my old high school.  Mother fuckers couldn't hang lights for shit and were always cutting off people's heads from the spots but I guess they were just doing art!!!!

edit: RED is pretty tacky yes

I'm going to hyjack this topic with a REAL feel good movie, probably one of the best films this year.

Much better lighting which isn't as GOODIE GOODIE HERE'S A BACKLIGHT PERFECTLY POSITIONED TO CREATE THE MOST CLEAR GOOD LOOKING PICTURE no fuck that it looks GOOD, it communicates and expresses the film and creates this connection between the filmmakers and the audience.

the sad thing is the guy this is about got drafted by the baltimore ravens which means that he'll automatically turn into a major asshole and is now 7% more likely to kill somebody

seriously though, i'm not really feeling this either. feels too much like the NOBLE SAVAGE story saved by the healing power of white people. pass.

Yeah, I have to agree. Why dont they mix it up a little and use a disadvantaged white person with a strong smart black woman for the role of the mother?

the only rich retarded black women are entertainers, i really doubt lil kim would adopt a fat white kid

also in the secret life of bees a rich black family support a poor white girl but part of that is WHOA ISN'T THIS WEIRD??

Man you guys really depress me sometimes, I just watched this movie and it was really good! They actually point out in the movie the fact that people assumed she was doing it because of 'white guilt' but it actually had nothing to do with that.

you don't get out of allegations of racism just because you say you aren't racist. 'oh we know you're gonna say this movie is racist....but it's not, so shut it, pal. called you out on that, huh?'. making a film about the saintliness of a blonde conservative white woman who takes in a poor, wayward black kid/man is just a shitty idea.  i haven't seen it so maybe i am missing something but i'm about 99% sure i'm not because it's fucking sandra bullock come on and also i'm not watching this movie it looks awful.

maybe racism is the wrong word, though. it's just that the whole feeling behind this idea is so besides the point and ignorant in terms of how you deal with racism that to get invested in it's argument is just a bit yuck for me. i suspect as well that there is a whole 'we can tame them and make them good! look at us!' current riding underneath all of this, too.
