So, nine days from today i'll finally be moving into my new residence in Boulder, Colorado. CU Boulder that is! ho ho ho



For those that haven't been, it's a massive school boasting a daunting 30,000 students. I'm not so psyched about the massive class size, but the campus is really beautiful and it's literally a five minute walk from flat irons state park. All in all, should be a really good place to start working on a degree, and I'm really really really fuckin excited to go.

anyway, i've got all the usual shit ready to go; linens, clothes, computer, some storage. But I'm sure there's some things I could bring that I'm not thinking of, and thats where GW comes in! Help good 'ol Beasley move in and get his freshman year off to a smooth start with some items he might not consider bringing and just in general some tips to survive/improve living at uni

also for those of you like me going off to school in the fall feel free to use this as a platform to ask questions about going off to college/brag about the ivy league you're going to/fuck if i know about college here!

kitchen equipment. it depends where you are living, if you are living in a place with a communal kitchen and a bunch of people you can probably get away with not taking that much, or buying that much when you are there, but if you are not going to be in a situation to use other people's cheese graters/pots/sporks then it will be annoying. 

do you know what they do at boulder on 420? everyone goes out into the quad and smokes all day. cops don't do anything.

yeah i'm living in a dorm so cooking will be minimal. ill probably bring some plates and some utensils but thats about it, the only thing they allow in the dorm for cooking is a microwave.

this is worth investing in.  If you can hide it during room inspections (depends on your school, mine only did it once at the beginning of the year and my RA just asked me if I had anything illegal in my room) you are golden.  Nothing like a bagel at 1 in the morning.

thats a pretty bad ratio dude like seriously
mine is like almost 7:3 (g:b) 

maybe not bad bu ti think the national avg is 6:4 at least this is a trend in colleges except for like technical schools (my one friend is going to school for becoming an airplane mechanic and the ratio is like 3:7 )
