i was in nyc a couple of weeks ago with some friends and someone recommended we check out
Jimmy's Corner as a great, cheap bar to go to in Manhattan. So we did. It was awesome. It's a really tight, cozy place with Boxing memorabilia all over the walls and most importantly NO B.A.K.E.R.-type fuckers. Beers were $4, mixed drinks were like $3.50-$7. Very cheap.
if you're there saturday night, and a nice waitress with lots of tattoos over her arms serves you, tell her "the kid who had a margarita, a bloody mary, and a midori a couple of weeks ago was OK the next day" (that's not me, btw). she'll definitely remember.
