kind of looks like a mixture of cloverfield and independence day. Doesn't look that interesting or terribly original tbh, but we'll see. The music in that trailer was pretty cool near the end though

Man, as much as I want to do trolling, The Hurt Locker is a very very good movie.  I wouldn't go as far to call it perfect but that is because I wouldn't call any movie or granted, any form of media perfect in the first place.   I fail to see how this topic is relevant to the Hurt Locker though.   

I'm seeing District 9 later today though, so I'll let you guys know what I think.

I saw this last night.  I'm not sure what to say about it really.  It moved along very slow with little bits of action here and there. The main character is a complete pussy and then becomes ultimate badass. It was pretty cool how the film was made and the story was pretty slow but the action just seemed to be on the backburner all of the time. Theres intense scenes, and sad scenes, and then sort of leaves you open at the end.

Yeah like I liked it a lot as a whole, but it was hard with the type of movie it was being very incosistent.  Like it starts as a documentary and then kind of shifts suddenly (but rather smoothly) into a regular more narrative but every once and a while it documentaries again and its kind of strange.   Like it wasn't a masterpiece but it was at least as good as critics seem to be hailing it.  I did enjoy the f Iron Man tribute/references.

I didn't see/hear a Iron man reference. Someone else told that there is a reference in a way to Halo. Someone was using a halo 3 branded cup. And it makes sense that he'd put that in there since he was going to do a halo movie.
