To be honest, I think you're making a smart decision by not spending anymore. I've been told a few days ago by my brothers that once I get a job (I just finished having an interview with a manager) and start getting paid, that I should save my money, for if I retire in my 50s or 60s, I can have all that money to myself to live on without shortage. This should be especially done if you still live with your folks. Do it while you can.

Only use a portion of your money on things that you will need, that are beneficial to you. I guess I wasn't thinking right about saying you should buy musical equipment, but imo I'd place a box and put .5/4th of my weekly/monthly pay to invest on what I want, saving the rest to help pay bills and such.

I saw Limp Bizkit at Download and I think it was the best gig atmosphere I have ever experienced. Everyone knew the words and just went mental. So fucking awesome.

Dude, do you work part time or is this like child/forced labour for $400 a month for 150 hours of WORKINGS? Like you're at uni right, or planning to go? If not, totally get a job that pays more than $400 (which I assume is Canadian) for a MONTH of work @_@.

I can barely live on my current salary as I have to spend it all on KFC and smokes; how much KFC could I buy with $400? Not a lot buddy!!!!


Oh yeah - get SOME KFC, not a lot but some. That is a good use of $400 Canadian. That'll buy you like a bucket or two right?

Man I recently cancelled my PENSION PLAN as I only need to work for 25 years (paying into it) to receive a final salary pension. Like I'm hopefully going to start it up again when I'm 30. Now I'm thinking "OH NO WHAT IF I GET FIRED?!?!? STATE PENSION!?!?!". Man, but it was costing me £60 a month.

That is almost six buckets of KFC!

I just brought a guitar for around £400
An Ibanez Artcore AF75TDG in Ivory effect with a bigsby tremelo. Beautiful finish and sounds great.

I dunno what you could get for $400 canadian though, Maybe a set of spair strings or something?
