There was a similer film made quite a few years ago , again from japan. I think it was this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0161635/plotsummary but it was def one of the Guinea Pig films. It was responsible for a copycat crime. Some guy saw the film, kidnapped a girl slowly cut her up while she was alive and posted video to her mum. Films like this can influence certain types of people to do sick stuff and for that reason alone it should be banned.

On a personal level I see no reason for anyone wanting to see this but if they do then thats up to them. Nobody should have the right to say what films someone should or should not see however banning this is the right choice - it will stop it easily getting into the hands of children.

it's not the movies that influence people to do the crimes. The people who commit such crimes are likely to kill anyways. A film (or game, or song) might have been the trigger, but such is the state of the people that generally annything from watching Tellytubbies to reading Dickens could end up setting them off. If we were to ban everything that has in some way influenced a violent crime then I guess we're sitting here in a world where all we can do is watch Arthur, listen to Nickleback and where the most adventurous book we can read is Thomas the Tank Engine picks up some passengers.

To ban something or condem it based on the actions of one person (regardless of how the other thousands or in some cases millions of other people didn't do anything) is absurd.

I wouldn't suggest allowing nickleback in your world then kaworu unless you're comfortable with objectifying women
