yes this is also the first thing i look for in a game/movie/book/painting/significant other/etc

Not sure if that was sarcasm (maybe hybrid of sarcasm since you put in “significant other” ) but honestly I do take the gore of the game/movie/book/painting into consideration when I watch or play anything and as long as it has style too it. Where it leaves me saying cool.

Here is an example: I like an anime it's also a OVA it pretty old but the amount of blood and the wow factor for me was up there so I fell in love with it. BTW the Anime was called 4x4 Eyes

This looks pretty bad. About two minutes into the video I couldn't listen to that ultra-repetitive "blam blam blam blam" noise any more. Some of the air shooting looks pretty good but for the most part the animations didn't blend very well with regular movement.

Also DDay have I got a game for you! It's called Mortal Kombat. You should look it up. It's got buckets of blood!

I like Mortal Kombat one, two, and three and after that they started to play like shit to me. Like N64 Mortal Kombat sucked and the newer ones don't appeal to me and I hate the style switching system they added (even if the crab style was funny as shit).

I got the game and I'm enjoying it so far. You might say the enemy's are almost like canon folder but that's not true they mob you and you can literally die in 2 sec out of bullet time... and I'm playing on hard mode since it's the hardest one I can pick till I beat the game... The second level had me dieing... I died 10 or 11 times normally it was the exploding cars around me that I forgot to explod Before I get near them that kill me but when it wasn't that it was the god dam mobs. By the way I was in the car garage. After that it was time the car chase witch I died right after the truck part thank god it was a check point... also to point on hard mode for the chase you have to manually take aim at them. After that a year goes by and it start me at her home/base it makes you do these time challenges where you run and gun to get at least silver rank to progress you can reduces your time by hitting targets and I stopped playing for a bit after that since my bro wanted to play Marvel Alliance 2. Also the time challenges aren't that easy ether In fact it had me retiring allot.

Also I was right you do get Upgrades and unlockables thru out the game.

Edit forgot to add you get style points to spend on upgrades at the end of every mission.

Review

Yesterday I just got done wet and I came out fairly impressed… Other then the ending was not as epic as one could of imagine . Since the whole game was about over the top action and the ending was mediocre at best. It Felt more like it was more of a prelude to the next game to build a background of the main character. But overall I loved the game but it was bit rough around the edges.

Gameplay 8/10

The game play like a 3rd person shooter that highlights  the gore and slow-mo aspect the most
which it makes you feel like your in a Tarantino film. The slow-mo aspect it a bit over done but works well as a solid shooter and provides a Challenge for those who seek it. But not just a shooter it even has some Platform elements to it.

There is also a combo System which you can chain other acrobatic moves. I believe they did a good job with. By the way there is more acrobatic moves other then jumps, slides and walls run in this game.(which the demo only shows)  there is a fairly good amount of combos you can do which you can use to get a lot more points witch can be spent on upgrading  your weapons and move set.

The aiming system of the game has one gun auto locked on to the first enemy that you see and the other one you can control freely. Some might say “that the auto lock will make the game easy” but that is not true especially if your playing hard or ultra Hard mode. Also there in enemies that can not be kill by a simple auto lock on like the sword men  that blocks every shot but a well place shot to the head and there is the gatling gunmen you have to unload a lot bullets in to him and then pursue him before he recovers with your sword .

Story 6/10

Without spoiling anything let’s just say she was doubled crossed and now some one has hell to pay.

Sound 10/10

The sound effects are great and the acting  is ok but where this game truly shines is the  Great extensive line up of Independent bands. Witch Matches the tone of the game nicely. I will post the Full list of the sound track of the game here too.

Replayability 5/10

Unless you’re a trophy\ achievement hunter like me. you will not find a lot of replay value here other then 4 things
That you may feel like doing. Which are a bunch of run and gun time challenges, Stage point challenges, finding and killing 25 scorpions in the bone yard and finish finding all the monkeys that are hidden on each stage.

Pros

The awesome music
solid shooter
Gore

Cons

Over kill with the slow-mo
The ending was nothing special
and The ending is a quick time event

Overall 7.5/10

I believe it's a great game but the ending dropped the overall effect and I Feel it has redeeming quality that makes up for it weaknesses and I would Recommend this game to any one that is looking for a good shooter... But I will tell them if you came for a good story your out luck. Maybe if there is a Sequel they can work at the flaws... anyway as I said before the story feel like it was a prelude. to lunch the next game with a better footing and left the game with a cliff hanger sort of... some speculate that the game is unfinished for DLC well... only time will tell.

are you for real dude

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Why just because you might of hated the game/demo and I seemed to like it. I'm not the only guy that likes this game but I will agree that the ending suck and could of been 100 times better and allot of people complain about the graphics, I think the graphics are just fine and can not be compared to PS2 graphics which a lot of the hatters try to compare it to.

I played the demo of this with my friends. Awful game man. Everything is over the top and trying really hard to be a movie. You can't aim unless its in slow motion so every time you shoot it goes into slow motion. It felt really sloppy with lame music and then the style changed completely to some kill bill crap. What I really dont like is idk how it tries to be edgy. Like if you walk into a locked door she will be like "FUCKING DOOR!" Or like how she drinks a beer and then throws the bottle and shoots it. Like how badass is that? I feel like it's appealing to 13 yr olds who can't get into R rated movies but can get their parents to buy them M rated games.

Actually it never takes it self that seriously so I really don’t know if it’s trying that hard at all... maybe the film grain effect they drooped in was a bit over kill and lot of people hated that... thank god you can remove in in options and if they where trying hard then they should of found a way to have a better ending because it sucked but as a game it holds it's own.
