I'm not sure whether this is the right forum, but where the heck did he go? I just checked the members list and he hasn't been on for 3 years! Anyone got any theories, clues, etc etc. We gotta Sherlock Holmes this guy.

Part of the problem was the engine itself. RM2K only supported the 320x240 resolution, it's younger brethren RMXP supports 640x480. If RMXP was around when Lysander was active, the line would have been far crisper.

He had a kid, had moved out to a new place and as far as i know now has limited internet access and no time for rpgmaker anymore. I have him on msn and he pops on now and again.

you should ask him how the story ends up

i think the storyline and the way he handled the battle system was rather original. and it was cool how you could actually take a bunch of paths in the story with characters and subplots

the graphics were pretty terrible i agree

buuuut i haven't played this game for five years. i may either think it's really terrible now or that it's just mediocre.

forgive me but am i the only one who's a little miffed that he just left us high and
dry? I mean, congrats on your kid but we were here first (i know i'll catch some
heat from the elitist GW'ers for that one

) and you sort of owe it to us to
finish these things. Maybe it's just amateur RPGs but still, you have a lot of people
counting on you and the fact that you just abandoned it because you had a kid is a
little sad.

Not that you should abandon your kid, I'm just saying perhaps a little
thought and planning BEFORE having the kid and you could have finished your storyline
and left us happily and THEN gone and had your kid. And so what, a kid takes 24 hours
a day 7 days a week to take care of? Don't think so bud

All you need to solve your wife/kid probs is a roll of duct tape and a large(ish) cupboard. As far as abl is concerned I'm over that like 5 years ago. Who cares anymore? Yes it was a great game and last I heard Lines End had been moved to XP but it too long ago for me to care about now.

If it get released somtime then great. If not good luck to Lysander and the rest of his life.
