basically its split into 2 parts, part 1 artists and musicians create sprites/backgrounds/sounds/music and everything else and the second part coders/designers make games using only these resources (without edits).

the fun has started so get your asses down to tigsource and make some graphics or music!

Know what's sad ? If this was on GW, it would end up with a bunch of battle char, rpg characters sprites and rpg monsters.

You sort of get that impression by the fact that they have a contest that isn't just about folks who must write games in assembly, but to do it on the fucking spot through resource improvisation.

And that's what is fucking brilliant. It forces improvisation and innovation if you want to stand out of the lot. Great ideas come from that sort of constraint.

mine is pretty simple and not very inventive so except for music and sfx that aren't "perfect" i got the graphics nailed
