Well as I am new to this program, even following other people's examples (like analyzing the events in their games) I have really hard time getting used to it. Still, making progress but okay. Well, there was some sort of problem with my installation file so the help files are missing (can't find them anywhere and the program neither) So I wanted to know:

-In the Events, when you give the Hero the "Jump"command it doesn't do anything, how is this fixed or programmed correctly?
-What are variables and how do they work? (If possible give me an example)
-Also, how do I make the effect of party split? I mean during an event, the `party members come from the hero like in FF games or Goldensun.

Thanks for the help, also if there is a tutorial for newbies like me please let me now.
